We can start the countdown clock on Dr Fauci

He listened to Dr. Fauci when Fauci was saying coronavirus would not impact the country greatly.

Wean, and a month and a half later, long ever everyone on the stage had told him otherwise, he saw no reason to call for or issue a national stay at home order.

Now, he’s public musing about shooting the messenger (which is another Trump leadership trait).

And the Trumpster/Lombaughlosers are cheering for it.

I agree. Firing Fauci would cause him strong political damage. But it does free him up for my now oft touted 2020 dream ticket!

"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark."

When he fired him he pose even more support, the Doctor is highly respected by many Americans including powerful Republicans. Trump is just too stupid for words and so dumb he doesn't know he is actually his own worst enemy. At this rate trump will lose by the largest landslide in history come November.

please don't say that
we said it about hillary, 'certain win', and people sat at home waiting on others to vote her into office
problem was, those other prospective voters were sitting at home waiting for someone else to elect her, too
tRump voters will be lined up to cast their ballot without any question. it's a cult following
getting him out of office will be determined by the size of democratic voter turnout
no reason to again suggest to democratic voters their ballots will not be needed

Whoever the South Koreans hired to manage their government, apparently.

Trump is a loser. If the U.S. were a business he'd already be fired.

The article points out that S. Korea had a big head start because they were able to isolate those churchgoers in Daegu. No doubt that those members publically stated that they went to Wuhan for the purpose of being deliberately infected helped...

It is difficult to take seriously a claim that Trump's opponents would have eagerly accepted all the 'big brother' type interventions S Korea used. Certainly not from those who thought Mr. Trumps' dictatorial nature is evidenced from his thinking about firing Mr. Mueller, as well as from other actions.

yes, February 18, there was a miniscule risk for Americans of being infected. So that in no way backs up your point. Here read your own words.

It does back up the point-- as the argument is that Trump didn't do anything in Jan or Feb.

His days are numbered, enough people see what kind of idiot they elected and will let him know in November.

You just live in your little hate bubble. The impact of this virus is not looking nearly as bad as first predicted. Trump will get our nations through this and the economy will bounce back just in time for the election. In the meantime Biden's mental health will deteriorate. My fear would be that he gets replaced by somebody much better.

Cuomo was consistent. Demonstrated great leadership. Kept the public informed. Communicated honestly at all times.

A stark contrast to Trump's deceit, incompetence, and inconsistency.

You can read the rest of the article, but I think I have successfully made my point with what I posted.

He was consistently wrong.
And he consistently gave bad advice.

In your dreams. Think I will bookmark this so we can get back to it again at a later date.

Does anyone else see parallels between TrumpCo and Fauci - - and that scene in Pulp Fiction with Winston Wolf? ("Call me Winston")
Of course, Trump is Vincent Vega...."Please would be nice."
Oh, to be a fly on the wall when Dr. Fauci goes all Wolf on them:

"Get it straight buster - I'm not here to say please, I'm here to tell you what to do...and if self-preservation is an instinct you possess you'd better [censored]ing do it and do it quick. I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen."

So pretty please with sugar on the top, CLEAN THE ****** CAR! :lamo

Statement by the WH:

"This media chatter is ridiculous -- President Trump is not firing Dr. Fauci. The President's tweet clearly exposed media attempts to maliciously push a falsehood about his China decision in an attempt to rewrite history. It was Democrats and the media who ignored Coronavirus choosing to focus on impeachment instead, and they finally did comment on the virus it was to attack President Trump for taking the bold decisive action to save American lives by cutting off travel from China and Europe. Dr. Fauci has been and remains a trusted advisor to President Trump." Hogan Gidley"

Translation:

Dr. Fauci will be fired later this week.
They literally play us for idiots. Absolute idiots. Trump Tweets a #FireFauchi Tweet, and they say we over-react for believing it.

Notice how Jarred came out to the podium once and claimed the stock pile belonged to the Fed. government. Has anyone ever seen him since? What a complete moron. Like father, like son-in-law.
What an idiot. It shows their mindset. And who does the federal government "belong" to? They can't figure it out?

unfortunately, i believe they have

as evidence i offer tRump's elimination of IG oversight regarding the $Trillions of stimulus money
will be difficult to assure corrupt players do not find access to it

If Donald Trump starts kicking out the personnel like Dr. Fauci who are necessary to plan and direct our nation's resources aimed at dealing with this pandemic for simply doing their jobs, I believe both houses of Congress would need to be called into a joint emergency session and should peremptorily impeach him for abuse of power and gross and incompetent maladministration. Get Mike Pence into the Oval Office and end this clown show.
Let's be serious. Do you think there's anything that could get the Republican Senate to remove?

No, I say keep Trump in. Let him drown in this, the ultimate Peter Principle example. He can take the GOP down with him, and that's a good thing.

The way it's going, it might be Fauci! :2razz:

No! Absolutely not. I give! Uncle!

But I do find Trump's actions and his ability to get away with them - depressing.

It may be difficult to take such a claim seriously.

And we don’t have one in the Senate either. McConnell let the relief package that the House passed sit for more than a week while he vacationed in Kentucky and attended fundraisers. When he came back, he tried to jam a GOP only bill through, only to fall on his face.

Trump was still doing nothing, but attacking reporters and telling everyone what great job he was doing.

But then, you’re the one trying to argue with a claim you yourself made! This is a typical straw man argument.

The point, you were trying to straw man your way past, is the fact that there was ample precident for such a move, and evidence that it would work.

But we don’t have a leader in the White House.

So regardless of who would have supported it, or opposed it at the time, Trump’s impulse was to do nothing.

Which is what he did.

A corrupt player is administering it.

Uh oh, somebody hurt twump's feelings again.

Trump Lashes Out at Fauci Amid Criticism of Slow Virus Response

Mr. Trump reposted a Twitter message that said “Time to #FireFauci” as he rejected criticism of his slow initial response to the pandemic that has now killed more than 22,000 people in the United States. The president privately has been irritated at times with Dr. Fauci, but the Twitter post was the most explicit he has been in letting that show publicly.

Trump Lashes Out at Fauci Amid Criticism of Slow Virus Response

Fauci's incompetent. He takes every position imaginable. He says one thing then another. In February, he said COVID was not a danger to the US. Yet even before that, the ever-cautious Trump took the drastic step of banning travel from China. He said there would be 200,000 deaths if we did nothing. A week later he walked it back to 60,000. The guy simply doesn't know what he's doing. He's loving the attention the leftwing media is giving him though. Trump needs to fire his ass.

The problem is not just social distancing, shutting stuff down. It's that, aside from a limited travel restriction related to China, Trump didn't do anything else to prepare.

The criticism is warranted.

The constant knee-jerk defense of Trump by Trump supporters is not warranted.

This is how we know Trump supporters are members of a cult.

They cannot accept any criticism whatsoever of their cult leader.
