Trump probably asked for it, thinking it meant how fortunate he is, not understanding at all what the song means.

That would not surprise me at all. Trump is the dumbest smart person I know. He may know how to manipulate people and lie like there's no tomorrow, but he is not a leader by any stretch of the imagination and he's a horrible businessman. Forty or fifty million for that parade, we was robbed.

The article says the song was played at his older rallies. The meaning was publicized after it happened. Either Trump or his handlers all got amnesia about it or DGAF because Trump likes the beat. Or something.

Yeah, and hasn't he played this before during his campaign? I'm pretty sure I remember that and the obvious irony, but he probably never bothered to listen to the lyrics. He probably isn't a lyrics guy.

Yep. He probably just hears 'fortunate one' and goes on in his mind to think how wonderful he is.

Yeah, he came down the steps from a plane with that playing.
It's amazing. Almost seems like sabotage from within.

Or just a simpleton who assumed he's a "fortunate son", never read the lyrics, and is surrounded by sycophants too scared to tell him what the song is about. My money's on that guess. Kind of like if Queen Elizabeth II had played the Sex Pistol's "God Save the Queen" whenever she showed up to an event.
;)

By posting this thread, you just gave away what the song was really about because I am sure that otherwise the braindead minions would have thought this was a tribute to Trump.

Love it. I was in a rock band after the war with other 'Nam vets. This was one of our go to songs.

Trump isn’t the dumbest smart person; he’s the smartest dumb person.

If that song was a troll, then they should have played this:

Mark

Oh. That's too funny.
