For starters, Lincoln described himself as having a “dark complexion” and “coarse black hair.” His own father, Lincoln said, had a “swarthy” complexion, “black” hair,” and “brown” eyes. For some contemporaries, this was enough to confirm that Lincoln was black.

British journalist Edward Dicey also noted Lincoln’s “uncombed and uncombable lank dark hair, that stands out in every direction at once… and a few irregular blotches of black bristly hair in the place where beard and whiskers ought to grow.”

But beyond these superficialities, Lincoln came from a somewhat unknown background. His law partner, good friend, and biographer, William Herndon, noted that: “There was something about his origin he never cared to dwell upon.”

Lincoln was especially reticent to discuss his mother, Nancy, which led historian and author J.A. Rogers to speculate that Lincoln “was the illegitimate son of a Negro by Nancy Hanks.”

Lincoln desired to return former slaves to Africa or other tropical regions, with their consent and the accord of the authorities of the country where they were to be settled. He repeated his support for colonization numerous times, including during the American Civil War.

Then I must be black because I too have a swarthy complexion and coarse black hair.
Thing is, we're ALL black according to geneticists.
Africa is the cradle of the beginning of humanity...quite simply, the first humanoids came from there, and the first humans did too.
It's quite easy to find ancient nonsense on the other side of the coin too by the way...like the texts offered by Elijah Mohammed about how a certain "Doctor Yakub CULTIVATED" the white race in caves as a scientific experiment gone awry.
Go ask the folks selling bean pies on the corner for Temple #7 and they can steer you to their libraries, and along the way pick up a copy of "The Final Call" if you desire further mileage on it.
Those same folks decry the geneticists all day long because if they are scientifically correct in their theory then that blows up the whole Doctor Yakub theory all to Hell.

But again, we can all trace back to the first humans born in Africa.
And racial purity is pure fantasy.
 
Read it all. Nah.. Best that could be claimed is he's "oreo". But I wouldn't bet on it.

Look, Southern Italy was taken over BY the Moors centuries ago so it's scientific fact that the darker Southern Italians DO have a mixture of their race and the black race.
Northern Italians look entirely different from Southern Italians for a reason.
Same goes for Spain, by the way.
Of course there are people right here on DP that know a thousand times more than I do but my Italian side of the family does NOT LOOK "Roman" at all, we are dark, swarthy and look almost like Arabs.

It only says she was a Virginia native who moved to Kentucky, so undoubtedly, look at that beard.

The only question is how black?

So, Obama wasn't the first black President.
 
I know something else that Lincoln was first, to be President twice.

Because Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah who was beheaded. Herod and his daughter died the second death making Marylin Monroe someone else. Herod's wife took the merit to pursue Elisha. For the lesson, that you're not supposed to ask according to your neighbor, if the Lord ever offers you a benediction, pray only, pray, "I only want your causeless devotional service birth after birth." Have you ever had your DNA tested? I have. I am 98% European; 75% of that is Scottish, 23% is German/French, 2% is Asian. Zero African DNA. Zero percent of many areas of the world. Believe what you want, DNA is DNA.

DNA is part of the genetics umbrella but genetics is about much more than just your DNA.
In automotive terms you did a CarFax search on a 1952 Nash Metropolitan but neglected to let them know that your Nash has some slightly different internals since it rolled off the line.

Maybe he was and maybe he wasn't. Who ****ing cares?

Many people on this forum don't know that Ruth was called the "N" word and N-lips from his early childhood, and by some other ball players throughout his playing career

well let's dissect that little canard shall we? First of all, WHO exactly is pissed? You can tell, can you, that I am? You won't believe me, but when I ran across this nugget last night I almost pissed myself laughing so hard. I am being honest here. I also knew that posting this, that someone would come across this and get really triggered by this. I mean, they couldn't address the topic or the merits of the argument - oh Hell No - they would instead get triggered and lash out at the OP. Congrats, you proved me right.
Not that it is any of your business, but I have never voted NDP. Liberal federally, and get this.......Conservative provincially (Ontario).

seems like you enjoy embarrassing yourself, and I enjoy watching you do so, so keep the snide remarks coming, I quite enjoy them.
