It should "go over" with the Judges, because regardless of your viewpoint bias, the civil action was a farce, and the "fine" violates the 8th Amendment. This is especially true when there are LITERALLY no "harmed parties."

The twin purposes of this civil action were to prevent Trump from financing his re-election campaign while also seeking to damage him financially and take away his businesses and perhaps his properties. Shades of Venezuela and the Maduro government.

NO ONE should have to post that much money when there was no financial harm. Anyone who either agrees with the ruling, and/or agrees with the "damages" amount demonstrates both their own personal animus and a lack of understanding of the law.
