IMO, it's society as a whole and not government that needs to stamp it out. It's the only way it will work. There are laws enough on all of this. Municipalities can give fines for not cooperating with pandemic restrictions already. I like what fb, twitter and google have done recently re: bigotry. It was a private decision that obviously suits most of their customers or they wouldn't have done it. That kind of intolerance and ignorant hate should be about as popular as having intercourse with your sister. We're getting there, and 2020 gave everyone a lot of food for thought. Those out front who push the envelope rarely get as far as they'd like, but they drag the rest of the people just a little farther forard, and that's all good.

No, government, let us handle the shunning. That's the people's job.

Black lives matter was then fueled by the lie that Michael Brown had his hands up pleading dont shoot and the cop was guilty of murder. A lie. Everything that Black Lives Matter is consists of lies.

Our parents, hopefully, teach us right from wrong, and society--our teachers, leaders and in general, the adults-- teach us what's okay. Lately, adults are falling down on the job, imo. Hate speech is more than a list of words, though. It is an attack on a group's civil rights. It is much more than a list of specific words.

Yes..in a perfect world. But this is not a perfect world. When you have the president of the United States on tape telling America that the KKK have some fine people. it's a little hard for the people to stop racist tendencies, wouldn't you agree?

No one tried to silence Wright. No one suggested his church be boycotted. They simply criticized the content of his speech. And purchase of a cake isnt required to exercise ones right to freedom of speech and the freedom to purchsase cake isnt among the constitutional rights.

I don't believe we're going to make it more perfect by having the government get involved. That President you referred to is not our leader anymore and no, I don't think people found it hard to avoid being racist when he was in charge, either. There has been increasing social pressure to knock that off for some time. However, the white supremacists have become more vocal and have grown in the past few years thanks to the dog whistles from the previous President. That's done now.

Btw, the President was referring to the people who came to the protests in Charlottesville to save the statues for historic and cultural reasons, not to frighten blacks. Those tiki torch yahoos were bussed in from out of state, from what I heard.

Id say my recognition that this wasnt an attempt to overthrow the government is on account of my grasp upon reality, and not a conservative position. I would be somewhat less enthusiastic but none the less defending black lives/antifa if they had rushed the Capitol, from charges of terrorism or attempting to overthrow the government. Civil disobedience in protest isnt terrorism. Whether its BLM/ANTIFA or Women for Trump

Nonsense. The evidence was never even examined to see if there was fraud. Dismissed on standing and procedural grounds. No trials have been conducted. EVEN if there had been a regular trial, depositions, Evidence Subpoenaed, witnesses called and put to a jury trial And Trumps lawyers still lost, it wouldnt be a determination that there was no voter fraud and instead only a determination that it wasnt shown by a preponderance of the evidence that there was.
