Horse trainer Bob Baffert on Monday argued that Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit had been a victim of "cancel culture" after the horse failed a postrace drug test.

"It did not happen and that's the really seriously troubling part," the trainer explained. "They shouldn't have called it a positive. We're living in a new world now. These horses don't live in a bubble. They're in an open farm. People are touching them. After the Derby, everybody's touching him. I mean, there are so many ways these horses could get contaminated."
This dude has a history of cheating yet it's the liberals fault.

Is it an inherent trait of right wingers to view "cheating" as acceptable?

Has anyone considered the horse may need rehab? Perhaps even therapy for all of this unwanted touching.

Seriously though - the 'cancel culture' comment is absurd. The horse failed a test. They should do their due diligence to ensure it's a correct result (repeating the test), but I don't think the average person is particularly invested in which horse wins a race.

It does sound like the trainer brings up a valid security concern. I can see how a rival may be tempted to dose a frontrunner with a steroid. The horse isn't going to know. Seems like they would be a little more strict with security.

I confess. I used my Jewish Space Teleporters to plant the drugs in the horse. Didn't know we had those too, huh? How do you think we repair the Space Lasers?

Occam says you're a cheat.

But if this is a thing that actually happens and you're allowing people to interact with your horses after they've won major races under so little monitoring that they can inject banned drugs into their joints (how this is apparently delivered), you might just be dumb enough to deserve falling prey to this. Sorta like a bank that runs on the honor system complaining about a theft.

The horses of this caliber who are stabled at Churchill Downs for the Derby are watched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most of them have a groom sleeping in the stall with them. No rival did this.

They have already done the second test and are awaiting the results.

Baffert is a lying fraud who has been suspended in the past for this very thing.

He is very similar to Trump.

They wear nice clothes to feed their massive egos and "little man" complexes.

Why do they keep letting him enter doped horses?

No ban similiar to the IOC?
