At this point, I don't seem him being interested in pardoning anyway. But it wouldn't surprise me if his reaction was muted and not up to the challenge of the moment. Hortman was one of a few Democrat caucus members to cast a vote to cut MinnesotaCARE for illegal aliens.

I'm not saying that is why she was killed, just saying that it's easy to find motives that aren't just "she's a Democrat" ... if that were the case, why those particular Democrats?
