I actually think he's quite funny, a small percentage of the time. But I have wondered, more than once, how this account is not a total violation of rule number three, because obviously the whole thing is designed to mock and inflame.

There is no way to distinguish one from the other if the police officer thats real doesn’t show his face, wear a badge with the number and his name plate placed appropriately.

I don't know. I came to this thread to see if there was anything new. Nothing but the usual misplaced blame is what I've noticed.

I googled and even with a massive manhunt, and a huge reward, he hasn't been found yet.

About his wife, Jennifer Boelter, along with three other relatives, were detained for questioning after a traffic stop yesterday. Their vehicle contained a weapon, ammo, cash, and passports. No arrests were made.
LE did not elaborate on the extent of her cooperation. They supposedly have five children. Not sure if they were with her during the traffic stop.
So far, looks like no public statements from the family.
 
Reportedly this is about an hour from where the shootings occurred.

I mean, there are many explanations that could cover why they had them, and it could be a coincidence, and all of those things are probably legal to have. (I don't know specific Minnesota law.) There's nothing inherently evil about any of them.

But... Umm.

On the other hand, I would be amazingly surprised if any of these relatives, including the wife or somehow, in on this, and it's some strange conspiracy? I just find that odd. I find lots of this very, very odd.

I have to admit, I have definitely slowed down to watch the wreck this time.

Vance Boelter's car found 1 day after targeted lawmaker shootings in Minnesota​

Authorities say they have found a vehicle belonging to the suspect identified in the targeted shootings of two Minnesota lawmakersand their spouses.

Residents of Sibley County were sent an emergency alert stating the shooter's vehicle had been located near Minnesota Highway 25 and 301st Avenue in Faxon Township. The alert encouraged residents to lock their doors and secure their vehicles, adding that law enforcement will be going to area residences to ask to search properties.

The Minnesota State Patrol and U.S Marshals Service were among the agencies on scene in Sibley County Sunday morning. A discarded cowboy hat was also located on the scene, nearly 60 miles southwest from where the shootings took place.

As a complete side note, does anyone know when a SWAT team tears the ever-living crap out of your rented little house because one of your roommates evidently busted a circuit along the way? Who is responsible to fix all those windows and doors and things?

I know there's an enormous gulf between the actual victims of this crime and these two guys, but I feel kind of bad for them too. The one that was interviewed even said he was mad that the alleged perp did this to them. Understandable. I wouldn't want to be interviewed by the news in front of my broken house on a Sunday morning or whenever that was.
