IF you are black and I believe you are based on your postings, don't you think it's just a tad condescending and elitist to assert that black people need "equity" (think set-asides, affirmative action) because...racism, slavery, Jim Crow....when you proved that blacks do NOT need those things to excel.

It's not my problem that you are too biased bigoted and racist based illiterate to comprehend that racism was and is barbaric, you probably think it was ok, for white people to have done what they did regarding slavery and you likely thing the vile of segregation was just fine with you, and you like think even after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that it was ok for white people to continue discrimination. If you did not think that way, you'd understand what and why "Affirmative Actions was established", since you seem not to understanding, I will tell you. It's because SOME white people were and some still are driven and obsessed with being racially discriminating. As well as some systems, business, organizations and segments of industry are still hung up in being discriminating and created discriminatory variations and levels of glass ceilings.
There is not a black person that has asked you for a damn thing... other than for you to make the choice to stop being a race bigot. and you find that too difficult to do. It's overtly obvious in your posting since I've seen your commentary on this site. Likely at your age, there is very slim possibility that you'd ever learn to be any different.
While you are talking about what blacks need to succeed, you purposely void and blind your mind to the reality of the GENERATIONALLY poor whites whom some will continue to be poor and destitute for decades to come, because many bigoted white won't do a damn thing to help them. They've gotten more help by the Civil Right Legislation and Presidents such as JFK, LBJ, Clinton, Obama and Biden, than any right wing Republican President has ever done to help society that benefits working class and dire poor Americans.
You NEVER make any acknowledgment that I speak more about what can and what will benefit poor whites the same as what will benefit non white working class and poor, and I acknowledge the needs of poor whites the same as I acknowledge what benefits minorities and woman of the working class more than any of the white people on this entire forum.
I'm aware enough to know that America had many forms of "Segregation" from the Extreme Brutal Savage form to varying Repressive, Suppressive and Depressive Forms.... that includes not only Racial, but Ethnic, Sexual Identity, Country of Origin and Monetary....
But in your small closed mind all you can do is panic, when you see the words "white people" and it not followed up by patronizing flattery.
