[W:66] 2 dead after multiple people shot in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, while responding to a brush fire

You have no chance of amending the constitution to repeal the 2nd. So I ask again, what specific regulation do you propose that would be constitutional, effective and enforceable?

You have no chance of repealing the 2nd. So answer the question as it pertains to reality.
You'll be sorry you said that when the electrical space demons from dimension X arrive and make her the viceroy of Earth.

What is the point of quoting me if you’re only going to vomit stupidity in response?

I'm not in favor of those because they ignore existing valuable Constitutional mandates against cruel and unusual punishment, and for due process. Can you think of something more appropriate? You don't always have to go directly to the over-maximum-ridiculous-exaggerated ideas. Come on, you're smart, aren't you? You didn't think I was that dumb, did you?

I didn't think you'd want to be hard on criminals

You want to be hard on law abiding citizens and attack their Constitutional Rights.

No, I can't think of anything much more to suggest. Criminals/Violent people do what they want to because the punishments are worth the risks. Only when the risk isn't worth it will you see a big differnce

my GF's son would drink and drive often enough ... he got a DUI one night. He lost his job, big $$$ fine, more $$$ for insurance, it was a LOT. He is very careful now.

had the fine been $500 and that was it, he'd never have stopped DUI

See how that works? now, triple the punishments for DUI and watch them plummet even more but liberals stand in the way of that, same as with laws on violence and crime IMO. Ya'll would rather shackle law abiding citizens than focus on criminals.

We see this trend over and over and over
