[W:542] Star Harvard business professor stripped of tenure, fired for manipulating data in studies on dishonesty

Well any one person could be wrong and or dishonest if that is the point of this very important LOL. Breaking news but that's why you look at a consensus of people over time, not just one individual person . No University and no specific field is perfect and has no problems in it, but concluding that you should ignore expert from this. One example is stupid

So if that's not it, then what are you trying to prove here? That you care so much about Gina Francesco?
I am discussing the actual subject of the thread. I have nothing to “prove”. Do you?

I mean, you would totally be right if this was a stand alone incident.

Is it?

The schtick was funny in the beginning. Now it's just dated and boring.

I know you don't mean me harm, yet I am profoundly hurt.

It is very sad for me, personally, yet I will soldier on.

I do find it funny that she researched honesty and ethical behavior and then got caught faking her data.

But she's a business professor (or was), there's not a lot of expectations for business majors.

This makes me feel better.

Thank you, Ikari, and while any professor is immediately suspect, business professors are doubly so.

MAGA.

There's something familiar about this repetitive infantile zingerette.
I just see a mass of MAGA posting the same mindless, thoughtless blurting as a means to distract themselves from what their leader is doing. It is so much easier to attack institutions than to understand how they work, even in this case when it shows how it works. There is just this revelry surrounding ignorance and stupidity, and it is not some insignificant percent like with the Birchers, it now makes up nearly half of voters. I just can't understand the growth of this insanity. It is viral and it always ends badly.

He didn't argue it was. What is wrong with you people?

Idiocy abounds when you rush to defend.

Gina Francesco sounds like an awfully boring topic for a "Debate Politics" discussion.

I'm pretty sure you had something more in mind. But regardless, carry on.

Not at all. Corruption in science has always been a problem.

What is the conclusion that you think should be drawn from that?

Or she is replying in kind.

You could put an end to it.....

by replying on topic.
The topic is trust, the holding of people to standards. MAGA is the last group of humans to have anything to say on the matter.

From what I understand, you seem to be saying that because science is changing and revising what it’s saying all the time, that at any given moment it’s all just a pack of lies- especially if you don’t like what it’s saying politically.

And that means you can dismiss any of the latest science you don’t like politically as a pack of lies.

Tell me where I’m going along with my understanding of your position.
This has nothing to do with politics. What is your definition of “latest science?” What does that even mean? And why are you such a zealot over this “latest science” knowing that it is inherently false?

The same conclusion I've been preaching this whole thread (and my entire time on this board)

A good dose of Skepticism. Blind faith in the 'experts' will get you, us, we, all in trouble.

So the latest research and gains are inherently false?

The latest science means it's the best we have observed to date. It can change. What part of that is "inherently false"?

Are you seriously saying we should always discredit the latest science because it is "inherently false"? Or just the stuff we don't like politically?

This has everything to do with politics.

Which is still a deflection. In fact, it's the same deflection you've used for every single post in this thread.
Perhaps one day, we shall have you follow the rules.

He didn't argue that it was a individual person?
Goalpost move, your point was it was not a "stand alone" incident. No one argued that was.
Idiocy abounds when you rush to defend.
Idiocy abounds when posters forget what point they pulled out.... was a non-sequitur.

As juvenile and mindless it may be, sometimes it is more in the way that you use it than in what you actually say. Witness my use of Harvard delenda est, language any lib-prog worth a salt will understand, yet if I were to use that sort of language on Truth Social, I'd be driven from the community within the hour.

However, this community, our community, is inclusive - even to those who are MAGA as am I, and since I aim to convert as many lib-progs to the MAGA while also selling as many red hats and FJB flags as possible, I am very grateful to any and all who abide my juvenile and, I daresay, mindless utterings.

Thank you all!

MAGA.
