You said race has no meaning. So what could be the meaning of calling someone "racist"? Is it just a generic pejorative like calling someone a shit head or something?

I do not bring this up to be pedantic. I just think if we are going to accuse people of being racists we should at least be using the word correctly even if we are wrong about the accusation.

Actually, it reminds me of an entertaining dustup on a long defunct Texas history forum. A Mexican national argued that the original Tejanos were not true Latinos because they were descendants of Spaniards.
