[W:2667] Michael Cohen testimony thread

Yes. And the problem there is then THAT will taint all the other court cases coming up. Conservatives will dismiss them all as "politically motivated" and discredit them all.

Aaaaand... voilà! We will have the rapist back in the White House.
Well, they are all BS.

A few of you guys posted with me on the Hannity Message Board forever ago.

Remember how I kept posting the phrase that "the Republican Party is going to go much lower and lower"?

I called it didn't i? All those years ago when people didn't believe they would go this low I called it. And they're going to go much much lower still.

Are we missing it? Cohen just testified that Cohen told Trump that he would come up with the $130k for Daniels and Trump responded "good, good"
There has been plenty of "Cohen says" 🤣 🤣 🤣 LMAO......

Is a liar.

When know Cohen's a liar. We also know Trump's a liar.

So it comes down to,

"Are you going to believe the liar with the corroborating evidence? Or, the liar with nothing but his assertions contray to the evidence?"

The two men are coming from totally different perspectives:

- If Cohen lies, he goes to jail.

- If Trump tells the truth, he goes to jail.

There's a decent chance I think, that the jury figures it out.

Today is historic for our country.

It's just that the Nixon like supporters haven't figured it out yet.

The movies will be crazy.

The jury also gets to consider all the other corroborating evidence given by so many other witnesses. The prosecution laid the foundation so perfectly.

Except Cohen already did his time...he's got NO reason to lie at this point.

"Are you going to believe the liar with the corroborating evidence?
Iv'e heard (read) Cohen says a lot, but doesn't have receipts to back up all of "He says"

*Rump did the same things so if Cohen is to be discredited for those things, then so is *Rump.

You completely missed the context of senior CNN legal analyst's words as it relates to the non-credibility of Michael Cohen as a witness.

I'm starting to think that this was a pretty easy case for the prosecution.

High profile, yes. Devastating to one entire political party, yes. Devastating to a man baby, yes. But still a pretty simple case with all the evidence.

LOL!!! This is Cohen. The guy is a convicted felon, and admitted liar. He's lied in court, before Congress, in interviews, to judges, to prosecutors, to police, FBI, and a host of others. He has admitted he lies all the time. Like Stormy he signed a statement saying Trump did nothing. So was he lying all those other times or lying now? There is no evidence here that actually links Trump. The Cohen testimony can't be believed and even in the things he claims if believed are not even criminal.

Its not as if the defense has to paint Cohen a serial liar or an obvious opportunist,

Robert Khuzami, Attorney for the United States, Acting Under Authority Conferred by 28 U.S.C. § 515, announced that MICHAEL COHEN was sentenced today to three years in prison for tax evasion, making false statements to a federally insured bank, and campaign finance violations.

They're not being charged with the same thing although this is hard to determine since it hasn't been revealed what the felony was...a state or federal crime. If a lawyer commits illegal acts without the explicit instructions or knowledge I don't believe the client can be held responsible.
No argument Cohen is a serial liar but you folks think that means the jury is obligated to disbelieve everything he says at trial. They certainly can. But that means they disregard all the corroborating evidence and believe Cohen took out a line of credit on his home to pay Daniels as a favor to Trump with Trump not knowing anything about it? And no expectation to be paid back.

Good luck with that one.

Yes there has. None the less, that is what was just testified to and there is already testimony that the business records were falsified.

While much attention has been paid to the documents that gross up the payments to Cohen I don't think the Prosecution has actually tied Trump directly to those falsities. They have a good case that Trump saw the falsified invoices from Cohen and knew the checks her was signing were a consequence of those false invoices which were attached to the checks at the point Trump signed them.

We got confirmation again today that Trump doesn't give a shit about his wife.

And as we all know those three little babies he had forever ago were innocent and he totally corrupted them from their birth. He made them evil.

Oh my that's some logic you got going on there.

Yes Cohen and Trump. Two dirtbags if there ever were dirtbags. The Dif.....one is not trying to slither his way back into the WH and the other is.

Within the month, I expect Trump to be a convicted felon, and one we know lies all the time, including to judges, prosecutors, FBI and a host of others.

So I presume you will stop believing anything he says after his conviction?

This is why it took so long for NY to put this case together...they dotted every i and crossed every t. When you have a loose cannon like Cohen, you kinda gotta do that...

There are two Trump cultists in this thread that not only know about all of Trump's crimes they simply defend them.

That's the Republican party in 2024.
