The article I posted here that proved that the leading cause of death in CHILDREN is firearms. Then I taught you the definition of a “child”.
No, the article you posted talks about the "leading cause of death among children and adolescents, defined as persons 1 to 19 years of age." And I pointed out that 18 and 19 year olds are not children, which you confirmed by providing a definition indicating that children are people who are UNDER 18.
I also provided links to the ACTUAL CDC data for just children, which shows that the leading cause of death remains motor vehicles.
Most importantly, I pointed out how odd it is that, after all these years, you suddenly care about the leading cause of death in children. What a coincidence that you suddenly care, now that you can use it (albeit dishonestly) to promote restrictions on rights OTHER people care about, instead of those you probably care about yourself.
“Under the law, a child usually refers to an individual who is a minor, who is below legal age or the age of majority. The age of majority being 18 in most states. Being below the age of majority means that the child will have fewer rights but also less responsibilities than those who have attained the age of majority.””
I child is anyone under the age of 18. It is a FACT that the leading cause of death in ALL CHILDREN is now firearms, be they a baby, a toddler, a prepubescent person, or a teen-they are all “CHILDREN”. Perhaps you might win this if you said that motor vehicle accidents aren’t the leading cause of death in 2-3 year olds. You didn’t. Under the law, a child usually refers to an individual who is a minor, who is below legal age or the age of majority. The age of majority being 18 in most states. Being below the age of majority means that the child will have fewer rights but also less responsibilities than those who have attained the age of majority.”Those are facts. I have proved my point and won’t debate facts.
If you can’t understand this then I can’t help you any more.
I can understand it just fine. It says that a person who as reached the age of majority, i.e., 18, is not a child. That's what I've been saying all along. Thanks for confirming it. Again.
