[W: 1667] JOSH DUGGARARRESTED IN ARKANSASBy Federal Agents

Interesting. There was a flurry of creating LLCs in Annas name in 2019-2020.

5 LLCs for a person who doesn't work outside the home and their only job is being on a TV show and having children.
So Josh knew what was coming after the feds took his computers.

Wife likely did too
Maybe. Or maybe he told her it was some kind of tax investigation into his business. Just protecting the family's assets. You know, guy stuff--don't worry your pretty little head about it, darling.

Jim Bob didn't let the cat out of the bag. The information was given to the Oprah show and she alerted authorities. Jim Bob refused to let Josh be interviewed until the statute ran.

Yes, thx for the correction, I'd forgotten about the letter in the book and the person alerting Oprah just before they were supposed to be on her show. So it's not like he was honest and up front. He was forced.

Her parents are as nutty as Jim Bob Duggar.

Yes, they were adamant she not leave him after the cheating came up. I have a hard time understanding what parents would push their daughter to marry a guy who molested his young siblings. Which takes me to two thoughts. Josh and them completely down played the incident, or her parents were hoping for a piece of the Duggar circus pie. Maybe both.

So now they've got a daughter who's got 6 (going on 7) kids, a husband who's cheated on her with a porn star, addicted to porn, and now sitting in jail charged with KP possession.

Bet that's not where they were hoping to end up.

Exactly.
I've been thinking about this and how sad it is, because if a socially awkward 13-14 year old growing up in an ultra clannish environment had gotten help then, it might have turned things around for Josh. But there are parents like the Duggars who are so reliant on faith they totally distrust mainstream professional help or intervention for their children. It's almost like parents who reject medical help for their seriously ill children.

Sometimes I wonder if it's because counseling might reveal too much and the parents know it. I don't know if that applies to the Duggars, but the results were the same. A kid was lost.

Even if he does get out on bond, he can't be around his children or any other children. Good.

Although I took note of the judges words:

"They also will want to interview Mr. Duggar. They won't discuss your charges Duggar but they will interview you for information to determine whether you're a good person for release, in a residence where they are no minors in the home or that would be visiting unsupervised," the judge continued.

So no living with kids, but it seems like they can visit him.

It's not all that unusual for people to stick it out after an infidelity. Hubby watching porn? Who doesn't?
The child porn is a different matter though. Children are harmed, and you have to think of the kids.
Maybe Anna will get lucky and the courts will protect the kids for her. They'll allow him supervised visits, no doubt.

How horrible for the kids though--why is Daddy in jail? How to answer? If the family doesn't tell them, they're going to hear it from other kids at church, at school, in the neighborhood.

The court did not allow visitation rights for Subway Jared. Hopefully, there is enough fire under the smoke to warrant a long prison term and forfeiting of custodial rights. However, I bet the house Anna Duggar will never divorce Josh. Those religious nuts are like that.

In TN, I knew a family where daddy was obviously buggering the daughters, and all mama did was turn a blind eye toward Jesus. It was pretty sick stuff...certainly turned me further away from following any church.

"The Deep State conspiracy was out to get daddy," is my guess.

Let's just hope that none of them already have first hand knowledge of why the pedophile needed to be removed from their lives and from society.

I don't think you can blame religion for women turning a blindeye. It happens every day, in families everywhere. Of course, it happens in religious families too. It happens everywhere.

Amen.

I know nothing about the Jared case. Did he get caught actually doing the deed?

You know, I had a nasty thought this morning.
The story goes, back when Josh was a teenager and this was only known to the family, Jim Bob sent Josh to a state police officer for a "talking to." The reports of bad behavior stopped.

The cop was arrested two years later for child pornography and is serving 56 years after violating a parole attempt.

So what was the real conversation between those two? Did Hutchens teach Josh how to not get caught? Because why would anyone think the behavior stopped just like that? Did Hutchens introduce Josh to another outlet for his sexual urges? I suppose I'm being too fanciful here, but it makes me wonder.

In a normal marriage those things wouldn't be a deal breaker for most. People learn, they grow and it can make them stronger.

In her case this wasn't just family and friends finding out Josh was skirt chasing his secretary. It was an entire community learning her husband not only cheated on her with a porn star (while she was pregnant) but that he actually signed up on a website specifically directed at infidelity. In her own words he broke the most sacred thing they had, their marriage vows. How humiliating that had to feel, not to mention the heartache.

And again, it's not like Josh got a guilty conscience, confessed to her and begged for forgiveness. His damn name popped up when the site got hacked. He had no choice.

But I do agree that the kids are likely confused. I suspect the daughters will be (or have been) interviewed by authorities. Maybe the boys too.

Maybe right now they're just being told daddy is away on business. It's going to get pretty confusing though if he's bonded and they visit him living elsewhere.

Anna's got some big decisions ahead for the sake of her children. Although I guess she really can't do much until Josh's trial.

Oh and about the kids hearing it elsewhere. Pretty sure Anna homeschools the kids, so that's covered, at church yes a possibility. And who knows if they even get to hang out with kids in the neighborhood. It seemed like the Duggar clan only had each other as friends while growing up, maybe it's different now.

Their religion reduces the women to nothing but baby ovens. It's disgusting.

She was 19 when that pervy Josh married her. He probably hates her now because she looks like a woman and not a teeny bopper.

In this particular story it's all because of the religion. That's a fact.

All the Duggar spawn are homeschooled. That's why everyone is mad at Jill. She sends her sons to a normal school. And wears jeans, a big no no to Jim Bob.

I mentioned that awhile back, but then yesterday (I think it was) I was reading comments from the church elder who went with them that day. He heard the whole conversation. Of course that's not to say he couldn't have contacted Josh after and told him solve his sexual frustrations with online porn. Could be how Josh got addicted.

That nose piercing probably dropped them to their knees to beg the lord to wash the devil from her soul! :ROFLMAO:

That's a relief. My imagination runs away with me at times.

I'm sure Jim Bob thinks she's going to Hell. Personally I think he is. He can hang out with the Huckabees while there;.
I always thank the gods that I didn't grow up in Arkansas.

It makes me wonder if Josh wasn't abused also.
