This surprised the hell out of me. What, with all the headlines inside and outside the forum screaming Trump is a threat to the Constitution I had to take of my glasses, clean them, peer back at the screen to make sure I was reading right.

Is the mainstream media getting it wrong again?

New Poll: Americans Give Trump Huge Marks for 'Upholding the Constitution,' Biden Never Got Numbers Like This

A majority of U.S. voters gave President Donald Trump high marks for upholding the Constitution, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

In so doing, he outperformed former President Joe Biden by a solid eight points, despite receiving nonstop negative coverage from the legacy media.

A bullish 52 percent of likely voters gave Trump a “good” or “excellent” rating for the job he has done in “preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution,” according to Rasmussen Reports.

Credibility Rating: LOW

Overall, we rate Western Journal Right Biased and Questionable based on story selection and editorial opinions that strongly favor the right and numerous failed fact checks.

I can only point out that if so described High Credibility Rating sources were right Trump wouldnt be President; not in 2016, not in 2024

Not that I recall.

Back to the fact that the Western Journal is not credible: surely you can find this poll in a reputable source....

No. You are the one who wants to dismiss based on your Credibility Rating of choice. I am putting up your preferences to scrutiny. Trump is President, twice; against the prognostications of High Credibility Ratings sources. If they got that wrong twice then it questions the claimed High Credibility scores

I wonder which one has had more courts step in to stop their policies for being unconstitutional?

The Courts have been quite partisan as well. Maybe its Trump, and not the partisan Judges, the last true defender of the Republic

He's losing battles in most courts with people appointed across the political spectrum including judges he appointed.

I don't know where you're getting you're information but it's just wrong.

I don’t know about protecting the constitution. What I do know is that as far as all of America goes, just a bit less than half approve of the job Trump has done so far vs. a bit more than half disapproving.

Trump current approval of 47.5% is much better than his average of 42.8% for his first term and better than Biden’s average of 43.2%

For Trump, it’s probably a case of so far, so good. One needs to remember that Biden was over 50% approval until August of his first year which began his fall down into the low 40’s where he stayed for the remainder of his presidency. Trump stayed between 40-44% approval for his entire first term. So the old, “So far, so good,” applies. Let’s see if Trump can maintain his current 47-48% job approval into the future or will he take a tumble like Biden did from August through September of his first year?

Well since Rasmussen samples more respondents on the right, I'm guessing not a whole lot.

Problem is I did not expect Trump to score above the mid teens even in a sampling of 100% voters to the right. The Trump hostile media, as well as Trump hostile DP threads had all but impressed on my subconsciousness that all was lost; that the case against Trump as threat to the Constitution had convinced the people. So it comes as quite a surprise that as a matter of fact the voters are not the fools the mainstream media believes them to be

The verdict of the peop;e Trumps the rulings of biased Courts

Also keep in mind Trump has to deal with far stronger hostile headwinds than Biden ever did. I dont think Biden ever ran into headwinds. The mainstream media all lined behind Joe and carried him over the finish line
