Some states already mail ballots to all registered voters. Is this a good idea?
**** mail in, we should all be voting on line.

That’s beyond my pay grade. I can see both sides of this. If local rules require a signature and date then they will not be counted unless the courts decide that those requirements are unreasonable and don’t affect the validity of the ballot. If you vote and it doesn't count did you vote?
Or should these 3500 be counted and cancel votes that were done correctly in person on election day?![]()

Some people don’t have internet access or simply aren’t computer literate.**** mail in, we should all be voting on line.
Red states’ goal is voter suppression. They will never do it.I probably did.
I think each state does have mail in ballot options.
But the infrastructure and laws have to be in place at each state for mass mailing to all registered voters.
There must be a will, before there's a way.
Then the voters of those states need to take a stand.Red states’ goal is voter suppression. They will never do it.
Each state conducts elections according to their own state laws. Then the voters of those states need to take a stand.
I don't think we can federally mandate state's rights to conduct their own elections.
Now maybe there could be a national platform to follow for election of the POTUS.
That's true but, tell me, what did Mark Zuckerberg get for his $400M in the 2020 election? Each state conducts elections according to their own state laws.

I assume thats not a serious suggestion. You cannot deny the millions of people who do not have internet access for whatever reason the right to vote. Ideally, sure, people vote on line. Its never going to happen. So then they need to be. Its that simple. You can't hold back society for a few .

I don’t think you can restrict voting rights by requiring computer illiterate people to learn a little technology or lose their right to vote. A 90 year old who knows nothing about computers but can complete a ballot and mail it in or have it mailed in has an equal right to vote as you do.I am God damned serious. IN nY we have to do every government function on line. Why is voting differant?
You can't get vaccinated , VACCINATED unless you go on line and register.
People need to ****ing learn to use a PC and learn to get internet, period.

No, why? What is the problem? You don't trust your own county and supervisor of elections to be honest? How is 'massive' cheating going to take place?I chose no. Mail in ballots have their value - absentee, people with mobility problems. As long as security is maintained - e.g. positive voter ID.
First, it’s not true that you always need an appointment to get vaccinated. When I was giving covid shots we always accepted walk-ins.Let them learn or get help. They to for vaccination.
The result comprise a long more than just how my county votes. "How is massive cheating going to occur"? Remember 2020? Hopefully, nothing like that will happen again, but I'll reserve judgement. No, why? What is the problem? You don't trust your own county and supervisor of elections to be honest? Second, your proposal to limit voting to online only would never be viewed as legal. It would remove or severely limit the ability of some people to cast a ballot. It’s also a form of voter suppression. The elderly and the poor would be unfairly affected. As an alternative way to vote, sure. But limiting voting to online only is never going to happen. It’s a very bad and likely illegal idea.
Elections are run by the states not the nation. It is a state's rights issue. Why not make it national? You can still choose to vote in person if you like.

Thanks
I had no idea.
My point stands.
It’s never going to happenNo problem for the info but it voids your point.
