Vote by mail

Should states mail ballots to all registered voters in that state?

  • Total voters
    48
This sounds like the Titanic.

The ship is unsinkable.

The rabbit followed everyone else down the hole.

Wake up juice…..?…….

It is also called, “reality”.

If you vote and it doesn't count did you vote?

Or should these 3500 be counted and cancel votes that were done correctly in person on election day?
That’s beyond my pay grade. I can see both sides of this. If local rules require a signature and date then they will not be counted unless the courts decide that those requirements are unreasonable and don’t affect the validity of the ballot.
Fetterman is making that case in court I believe.
I don’t think the few ballot’s involved will swing the election either way.

I probably did.
I think each state does have mail in ballot options.
But the infrastructure and laws have to be in place at each state for mass mailing to all registered voters.
There must be a will, before there's a way.
Red states’ goal is voter suppression. They will never do it.

Then the voters of those states need to take a stand.
I don't think we can federally mandate state's rights to conduct their own elections.

Now maybe there could be a national platform to follow for election of the POTUS.

Each state conducts elections according to their own state laws.

That's true but, tell me, what did Mark Zuckerberg get for his $400M in the 2020 election?

Some people don’t have internet access or simply aren’t computer literate.

So then they need to be. Its that simple. You can't hold back society for a few .

I assume thats not a serious suggestion. You cannot deny the millions of people who do not have internet access for whatever reason the right to vote. Ideally, sure, people vote on line. Its never going to happen.

This is sick. The MAGATS and the other repulsicans are sore losers and will claim that THIS election was stolen in the states that they lose too:

  • Secretary of state: At least 12 of 27 Republican candidates have tried to overturn, rejected or questioned the 2020 results.
  • Governor: At least 22 of 36 Republican candidates have tried to overturn, rejected, questioned or declined to affirm the 2020 results.
  • US Senate: At least 19 of 35 Republican candidates have tried to overturn, rejected, questioned or declined to affirm the 2020 results.

I voted yes, and many of the measures taken in Colorado and Hawaii serve as examples of how this could work across the US.

I am God damned serious. IN nY we have to do every government function on line. Why is voting differant?
You can't get vaccinated , VACCINATED unless you go on line and register.
People need to ****ing learn to use a PC and learn to get internet, period.

I don’t think you can restrict voting rights by requiring computer illiterate people to learn a little technology or lose their right to vote. A 90 year old who knows nothing about computers but can complete a ballot and mail it in or have it mailed in has an equal right to vote as you do.

Let them learn or get help. They to for vaccination.

I chose no. Mail in ballots have their value - absentee, people with mobility problems. As long as security is maintained - e.g. positive voter ID.
No, why? What is the problem? You don't trust your own county and supervisor of elections to be honest? How is 'massive' cheating going to take place?

First, it’s not true that you always need an appointment to get vaccinated. When I was giving covid shots we always accepted walk-ins.
Second, your proposal to limit voting to online only would never be viewed as legal. It would remove or severely limit the ability of some people to cast a ballot. It’s also a form of voter suppression. The elderly and the poor would be unfairly affected. As an alternative way to vote, sure. But limiting voting to online only is never going to happen. It’s a very bad and likely illegal idea.

The result comprise a long more than just how my county votes. "How is massive cheating going to occur"? Remember 2020? Hopefully, nothing like that will happen again, but I'll reserve judgement.

It's 2022.

I chose the first option

Though I see very little fraud evidence, despite the efforts of one party.

You mean you hope a fair election never happens again?
Proof of significant fraud please….oh wait…there is none.
