I've set up a recording for this Brian Kilmeade interview with Shokin tomorrow. Bret Baier had a good segment today, with clips of the interview, and a little of what Shokin is saying about the Bidens. The Kilmeade interview was arranged with the help of Miranda Devine. An interpreter had to be used so it takes a minute to get used to the multiple voices. Interestingly, this is the very first person who has even asked Shokin for an interview.

Nothing screams “Breaking News” like the 8PM EST slot on a Saturday, in the waning days of summer!

Corrupt official ousted with the help of various countries including the U.S and the state department, spear-headed by Joe Biden...and this disgraced, corrupt prosecutor is still talking shit about Biden.
wow, big news! You remember Rudy was trying to get this guy to give them fake crap on Biden years ago right?

This desperation is embarrassing for the nation. Trump and co literally tried a non-violent coup, to steal the 2020 presidential election, among a wide range of other crimes, and you're here posting this old corrupt guys phony accusations against a guy how rightfully, as part of U.S. foreign policy efforts, got this guy removed?

Seriously?

How can anyone of sound mind vote Republican right now, it's beyond me, given what's been going on in the Trump era. Send a message to these clowns that you want your party back... a party that panders to big corporations and the wealthy, sure, but also does some other somewhat decent things occasionally. Oh, and doesn't TRY TO STEAL THE ****ING ELECTION.
(or other crimes, 91 or so charges).

I would think the House Committee needs to obtain Shokin's testimony and add it to the piles of mounting evidence against this president.

From your source above,
"During the interview with Fox News' Brian Kilmeade – set to air Saturday at 8 p.m. – Shokin said it is his "firm personal conviction" that he was fired because then-Vice President Biden and Hunter were bribed. Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko ousted Shokin in 2016 – he was hired a year prior – due to Shokin's alleged corruption and pressure from the U.S. government led by Biden." "I have said repeatedly in my previous interviews that Poroshenko fired me at the insistence of the then Vice President Biden because I was investigating Burisma," Shokin said in the interview."

And a NY Post piece on the topic, from today.

This is an interesting bit from the upcoming Shokin interview.

"In a second clip of Kilmeade’s interview with Shokin, the former prosecutor claimed that Joe Biden was responsible for Russia’s annexation of Crimea, which occurred in early 2014, before Hunter Biden joined Burisma.

“Everybody knows that it was because of Joe Biden’s actions that Russia was able to claim Crimea without firing a single shot, which of course eventually led to a full-scale war that is currently underway,” Shokin said.

The full explanation of Shokin’s claim was not immediately clear.

Biden did play a significant role in the Obama administration’s early efforts to “reset” relations with the Kremlin, but his focus on Ukraine grew after the annexation of Crimea.

Democrats say that investigations of Biden’s alleged role in his family’s foreign business dealings amount to a political smear and impeached then-President Donald Trump in late 2019 for pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to open an investigation of the Biden family.

Democratic impeachment managers argued that Trump was wrong to perceive corruption in Shokin’s ouster and said that his removal was a widely sought goal of the US and Western European countries."

The value of Shokin's testimony is as good as yours is, really, so you might as well call up Comey and tell them what you read in the NYPost three years ago. I'm sure they'd take you.

I mean, I'm pretty sure if you have a face they'll be happy to use your not-under-oath testimony. They're not picky is what I'm saying.

Ya think they will go for testimony from the Obama State Department, the IMF and the EU...or just Shokin?

Yep, Nancy Mace was asked about it in a segment tonight and she said the House committees would love to talk to Shokin. He's just another piece in the puzzle and one from which what Shokin has to say will require verification and corroboration. But, the more information, the better. And, certainly, the more information which is consistent with the emails on Hunter's laptop and other sources, the stronger the connections grow.

I think this thread ties in nicely with this anatta thread and the link in comment 1 of this anatta thread.

Nancy Mace has openly accused Joe Biden of running a child sex trafficking ring, so I'm not sure she's the sterling authority you think she is.

Goddamn, you people will embrace any corrupt asshole who says bad things about your perceived political enemies.

Fire Shokin and Ukraine gets billions in aid. Burisma pays Joe 5 million under the table for his good deed, firing the investigator who was onto Burisma's dirty business deals. I wonder what pseudonym Joe was using back then to communicate with his crack-headed son.
Mr. Robert Peters goes to Ukraine.

........and to that end of they will call former State department officials familiar with the matter including the former Ambassador and introduce the documents and statements from the IMF and EU. In the interest of " the more information the better" they will not restrict the information just to that which enhances their narrative. No doubt in the interest of truth you will demand all of that. You will demand the full story including the other side won't you?

Oops, I now see Paradoxical posted a thread about this in Breaking News prior to me starting this thread. Sorry Paradoxical, I didn't notice yours.
It's okay.
As long as yours is in general politics and his is in B/N, there shouldn't be a conflict. If you want though, you could ask the mods to merge yours with his.

I figured she would. Good to hear.
There seems to be compelling evidence, that proves Biden was deeply involved in bribery.

And nobody outside of loser Trumpers will give a flying ****.

Of course Joe was involved. He was the boss, not that idiot Hunter.
After four years you would think your dumb **** hero’s would have some proof, but they are pathetic as usual.

“All of us were really pushing [former Ukrainian president Petro] Poroshenko that he needs to do something, because the prosecutor was not following any of the corruption issues. He was really bad news,” said an EU diplomat involved in the discussions. “It was Biden who finally came in [and triggered it]. Biden was the most vocal, as the US usually is. But we were all literally complaining about the prosecutor.” Mr Shokin had been appointed prosecutor-general of Ukraine in February 2015, but the discussions in Washington and EU capitals about pushing for his removal started as early as April after he failed to follow through on a burst of expected early anti-corruption moves, one former US Treasury official said. Mr Biden entered the fray in December 2015, placing Mr Shokin’s removal at the top of his agenda on a visit to Kiev. “I know how the idea to have Shokin fired came up, and it wasn't Biden. His direct involvement came late in the game,” the former US Treasury official said.

LOL
A discredited and corrupt former Ukraine official is now going to 'tell the truth'?
I wonder how much FOx is paying him.

since we’re doing dodgy fellows with Eastern European names:

"As we have said many times before, the President was not in business with his son," Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House counsel's office, said in a statement last month. "As we have also said many times before, the Justice Department makes decisions in its criminal investigations independently, and in this case."

That's actually funny. What a load of horseshit. Hahahaha.
