To catch a diagosable case, yes.Are you more likely to catch Covid19 as a smoker?

Actually a couple of years ago he was beating me 6-1 or 6-2. I have learned and imitated he placing techniques to make it more even. I'd say we've played together or opposite each other in excess of 20 times since our initial round in either 2016 or 2017. He's no freak.Don't say 'the elderly' because you played a freak of nature in tennis once and were beaten?
I bet you aced your science and your statistics courses.
I don't know the percentage but a friend of mine with double my IQ (of 79) agrees with me and also wants to see statistics. The view makes a lot of sense.Just out of curiosity, since you have looked so deeply into this, what percentage of the total COVID-19 deaths are senior citizens vs the percentage that were smoker/vapers? That is the number that will truly support the case you are making. On the other hand, that number could spell the end of this nonsense of a thread.
How can you count asymptomatic cases or symptomatic ones where the victim, for good reasons, does not go to a doctor or hospital. That's why I believe that diagnosed Covid is more likely among smokers. Are you more likely to catch Covid19 as a smoker?

Are you more likely to catch *Covid19* as a smoker?

If you read my last answer, you are more likely to get sick enough to seek medical attention if you are a smoker and get Covid. If you don't want to be slammed into your basement for 14 days you'd be best to avoid unwarranted attention of the (medical and police) authorities. You are far more likely to die if you are a smoker and get Covid19, but please explain to me how smoking makes you more likely to contract it.

He turned 94 on Friday. Today he and his 69 or so year old partner (actually in less agile shape) beat me and my 70 year old partner 6-2, 6-4. The problem with knowing what his genes are is that back in the day (remember he was born in 1926) people of his parent's generation were still dying of diseases such as TB, lingering effects of polio, etc. that really aren't a factor now.I did not say he was a freak. I never would say that about someone. I said he was a freak of nature. I am sure good living has something to do with it too. However if you do not have the genes, no amount of healthy lifestyle has you beating younger opponents on the tennis court when you are 93.![]()
I'm not sure what being at Fisk means. </kidding>Not looking for a debate but i have read opinions that contradict whst your claiming. They say smokers are less at fisk to it than non smokers because the receptors are blocked by tar
