Good for you.

Is that all you have to say? I thought you said the tax cuts were only good for the wealthy?

That's just wonderful. Though I'm sure you meant federal income tax. They still pay federal SS/medicare tax.

Have you checked out what the annual interest expense on the debt generated by those nifty tax cuts is lately?

Yeah I did and I asked you if you would be willing to pick up the cost of SS and medicare for 10 of those poor people and I am not taling about some liberal progressive tax................I don't even like the word progressive........

I was being sarcastic. The Bush tax cuts mostly benefit the wealthy. Whatever you saved (assuming you have a middle class range income) is a pittance compared to a billionaire.

I'm quite sure my voluntary contribution would not make a dent in the $400 billion interest expense this year.

yet a billionaire probably pays more in a year than you will in a lifetime and I doubt a billionaire will receive as many benefits from the government as you will

I see, then plan B is keep on borrowing. Because whatever happens, we shouldn't actually have to pay for what *our* government spends.

The pass the buck generation.

I gave you a plan B. just because you are too weak to implement it doesnt mean its my fault.

hmmmm, that is strange because I am far from wealthy but I made out like a bandit from the tax cuts..........

as did I.

the B.S. line of "only the wealthy" bennifited is pure partisan talking point nonsense.

No doubt he will pay more. Whether he receives as many benefits depends upon how you define benefits. One benefit is that he gets to live in a society where he is allowed to make that kind of wealth.

LOL sure you did.

sure did. use the system the way it was intended to be used.

only a complete weakling would give in, and allow the government to take more of his money without first using his vote to put more responsible people in office.

Hell no, don't give in! Keep borrowing! More debt! Hell no, we aren't going to pay for what *our* government spends! Stick it to the next generation! Let them pay for it. That'll show the bastards in Washington.

The plan of the pass the buck generation.

benefits involve tangible entitlements received from the government. Billionaires would do well even if we returned to the Pre FDR entitlement society. His ability to make that wealth has not been created by entitlement programs that have created several generations of those addicted to sucking on the public teat

nope. USE YOUR VOTE.

sounds to me like you are saying "doesnt matter who we vote in, they will just keep spending.....so we MUST give them more money"

you want to pass the buck too.......you want to give the government permission to take more of MY MONEY.

stop passing the buck and volunteer to give more of your own damn money, and quite trying to take mine.

Don't worry, I will vote.

If the goal is to eliminate the deficits, are you suggesting we vote for the party that cuts taxes, doesn't cut spending, and runs up a huge pile of debt, or the party that when last in power that raised taxes and eliminated the deficits?

Im not suggesting WE vote for anyone. Im suggesting that YOU VOTE for the person you think will handle things the way you think they should be handled.

I am suggesting that if WE are concerned about the out of control debt, WE should vote for whomever has the most promise towards working towards that result.

we both are. clearly we each see a different way of accomplishing the same goal.

one allows me to keep more of what is mine to begin with.

the other allows other people to dictate how much of my money I have to give to the government.

We all do have to admit though that the latest republicans are in a sort of spending freny. Republicans ain't supposed to be like that. Less gov't and less spending ain't really happening...

Left talking points and spin if you check it out you will see that by far the Wealthy pay almost all the taxes in this country as it is........

That is true but if democrats were in power it would be twice as bad......And what is worse the money would be spent on failed social programs and their would be no tax cuts, in fact there would be huge tax increases.......

Yeah, the Reps are the lesser of the two "evils". But the spending and big gov't still has got to stop!

Hillary is not the answer........

Your right they have been spending like a drunken sailor but there have been some unseen circumstances like 9/11 2 wars and the biggest natural disaster on the history of this country, but if you think its bad now just let the dems be in charge.....They have never seen a failed social program or a tax hike they did not like...........They love spending money as long as its not their own........

Ever notice how all the Democrat led areas of the US are not the Utopias that Dems said they would be? Like take New Orleans (pre-Katrina) foor instance. All the crime, poverty, and corruption! I thought the Libs ran **** better? I guess not. Or look at another lib "Utopia", like France. Poverty, taxation, and crime are high. Lib run Britain has one of the highest crime rates in the World. Liberals cannot lead. It's not in their system.
