US oil drilling rig count before and after Biden

Up from the economic shutdown. Down by half from Trump oil boom.
Are you under the impression wells last forever and you don't need to drill new ones as fast or hopefully faster than the old ones play out?
Speaking of playing out, ….

Does the President of the US have the right to stop oil / gas lease sales on private land?

Please explain this:
"And yet, the White House is on pace to hand out more oil and gas drilling permits this year than any under President Trump and the most since George W. Bush left the Oval Office. (article date 8/12/2021)
It seems Biden is compensating for whatever loss would have occurred from public land drilling prohibition.

Any particular policies that the Biden admin. pushed that caused less oil production?

Bottom line is that Trump couldn’t care less about the environment and Biden does seem to care. Decisions, good or bad, will reflect that.

Yeah, far better to kiss Saudi Arabia's butt.
Really?

The Saudi royal family showered Donald Trump and his entourage on his first trip abroad as president with dozens of presents, including three robes made with white tiger and cheetah fur, and a dagger with a handle that appeared to be ivory.
Little that followed went right.

So the best you can do is a "whataboutTrump"? So is begging for oil or having an incompetent protocol office the bigger problem

Biden reversed Trump oil policies and the results are obvious.

We averaged eight and nine hundred working drilling rigs in 2019 and now we have half that.

Enjoying those $100.00 fill ups? Thank Biden.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Hey guys, in her link, compare the number of rigs from July 2020(still under Trump) to today. It's pretty funny. Spoiler Alert: They've gone up since Biden took office.

The economy is still recovering from Trump's disastrous pandemic response because his stupid ass supporters refuse to get vaccinated.
To this day, millions of Americans are working from home because a full-blown return to work still isn't wise with the Delta variant everywhere.

This has nothing to do with oil policies and everything to do with stupid ****ing Trump supporters not get getting the Vaccine.

Oil prices are very high. Biden took federal land out of production and oil companies can't drill where they cou!d with Trump.
Because Trump was only concerned about now. Lower oil prices make him look good. He doesn’t give a shit about the environment.

His own words;

Same with his shitty Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that jacked up the national debt by $7,000,000,000,000+. Trump only cares about how he can benefit now, and **** the future.

Wrong, it's because a global pandemic and worker shortage is making it hard for oil companies to keep up with rising demand. Nothing whatsoever to do with oil policy.

What hurts is reading a supposed serious article and finding out it compares the Keystone pipeline to Saudi Arabia. Smh. You need a better source.
It’s the Daily Mail, after all. Loved the headline, with the “HE” in caps indicating it’s all Biden’s fault, lest we miss their point.

So you are seriously trying to argue this crap didn’t affect the supply of fuel?
The supply was lower in July of 2020(when Trump was still in office) than it is today.
The supply is still rising, but it is Trump's failed pandemic response and his idiot followers refusing to get vaccinated that are preventing the economy from fully opening up, and creating worker shortages which impact supply.

What? You replied to this:

Trump's oil policies sucked.

Were you talking about someone else?

It seems Biden is compensating for whatever loss would have occurred from public land drilling prohibition.

Not sure what you mean. The Feds (Biden) can only sell / issue permits for federal lands, hence public lands.

Have you considered other factors on why drill rig numbers are down? Seem permits are up. So sales on federal land continue.

I don't think he knew that the weekly Baker Hughes rig count exist before he made this thread. That was his first mistake.

The left is out to ruin the oil industry but there is no chance that wind and solar can replace fossil fuels, it's a fact. The lie is told by the left to help promote massive spending by the government on those renewables. It's about the Benjamins baby. But the military, the commercial airline industry, large ocean ships just to name a few cannot operate without fossil fuel. The left has smoozed the idiots to believing wind and solar can replace fossil fuels, simply not true.

I really hope you don't get your jollies from demanding that of poorer families.
I don't demand anyone, nor derive jollies from demanding poorer, or wealthier families, do anything, but leave myself, and loved ones alone to live as we choose. And if you do, you should stop doing it. What other families do, as long as they don't shit your nest, is really none of yours', or mine's, business.

A statement about the future cannot be "fact". Only a more, or less, plausible curve of growth.

To name practically everything. Even trucks and locomotives could be reverse engineered. It's some of the military (lots of the Navy already uses nuclear), it's commercial airlines until synthetic fuels or (much) better batteries emerge, and large ocean ships. The latter can be progressively replaced with nuclear powered (or solar/wind/battery).

"To name a few" and not even one of them is sound.

The left has smoozed the idiots to believing wind and solar can replace fossil fuels, simply not true.

Wind and solar can replace some of fossil fuels, and do already. They could replace all, and as for commercial air? I'd like to tax them.
