From
CENTCOM:
three things come to mind:
1. Intel probably hasn't gotten any
better since we left Afghanistan completely, meaning that much of the the "over the horizon" capability that we were
assured would "stop terrorists from terrorizing with their terroristy ways even after we leave" probably looks a lot like this strike.
2. McKenzie took responsibility for it, and then didn't try to shift responsibility to anyone else while still claiming he was taking responsibility, even though he totally could have. Whatta novel concept.
3. a shit show. from beginning to end.
