US Marines mobilized to Los Angeles being sent home, Pentagon says

Since June 9th, 1400 Marines in a rotation of two battalions of 700 each did nothing at federal buildings except to stand in the heat in their camos and helmets watching people and vehicles go by. Their morale and Esprit de Corps sank through the cracks in the hot sidewalks.

The attempt by Trump-Miller-Homan to militarize the mass deportation of people they hate and are harming actively is a BIG BUST.

Just last week the Pentagon had to defederalize the CA NG brigade of 2000 Infantry troops, return 'em to the command of the governor who, in turn, sent 'em to fight fires which is included in their normal duties and that is very much needed of the moment. The brigade of 2000 NG Military Police remain in LA and may be released from this trivialized federalization next week if not sooner.

What impacted the removal of the battalion of 700 grumbling Marines is the arbitrary arrest of the Army veteran in Iraq George Retas by the Ice-Stapo and his illegal detainment in an ICE concentration center without access to a lawyer and his family. The US citizen Retas has a GoFundMe account to get a lawyer and sue the ass off ICE where there are countless asses. While Retas is a cool and calm customer he turns out to be one of the last guys you want to piss off.

Miller and the flatfoot cop Homan with the Generalissimo need to reduce the military footprint in LA before their numbnuts idea of militarization gets any worse on 'em. Indeed, their MacArthur Park fiasco is one for the books.
 
Looks like Trump didn't quite get what he wanted this time. Well there will be future opportunities.
