Has it ever occurred to you that Newsome knows he's wrong? Sanctuary policies are not legally sound.

It appears the court didn't think Newsom was wrong, and since I'm not a mind reader, I have no idea what he's thinking. Now, do I think Trump overplayed his hand, definitely. The reason is pretty basic and that was because there was no need for him to supersede the governor of the state when there was no emergency that warranted it. Had he used the Insurrection Act, he would have had better legal ground for doing so but he didn't, and I suspect that's because those around him with some sense didn't think the situation in California warranted it.

It's because of sanctuary policies that executive branch directives and legislative branch immigration law isn't being followed. That is one of the reasons the guard can be called--laws being unenforceable.

The two are linked because dem mayors and governors don't enforce the law in their states.

FFS, look, the unrest started why? Because people didn't like what ICE was doing and how they were doing it. The protests were because of that and became violent. Because ICE agents were targets due to that, immigration laws have become unenforceable in LA. I am not making anything up, that's what happened.

True, I don’t mind deportation of those ineligible to be here or stay. The objections to Tump are his accompanying lies and bigotry, all parts of Trump’s Make America Hate again theme.
