US Justice Department expresses 'concerns' over the GOP's Arizona election audit being conducted by Cyber Ninjas

Let's make it easy for you. North v South. Which party dominated each part of the USA until 1900? Which party dominates each area now?

Are you seriously suggesting the Republican North became the Democrat North without the parties altering their platforms? How do you explain South Carolina being stomping ground for Democrats in 1900 to being the sole domain of the GOP today? Did the entire population and cultures agree en masse to switch homes?
First respond to my post. If you can't then we can end this conversation now.

Nobody has said universal healthcare would be "free" BUT the examples provided by other developed nations and as noted in an earlier comment all show that "socialised medicine" is cheaper than the present American system.
You've never heard his described as free healthcare? That's hard to believe.
We are always told that it is socialized medicine cheaper. Sure, remove all competition and get the government involved, that's how we keep it cheap! Who cares that it's a formula for the exact opposite?

And, of course, rationing services, extending wait times, denying treatment (just take a pain pill) to try and control prices is not the same product a a lower cost.

You should have a closer look at them. The medical establishment has abandoned the free enterprise system, as in other countries, and care and service have declined while expenses have risen. Did you know there was once something called 'House calls'?
You must be very old.

Debt, foreign policy, race relations, corruption in the bureaucracies, keeping the nation sovereign, corrupting the political system, the justice system and destroying the educational system. Where do you want to start?
You never show your work...just a series of bumper stickers.

Just to be clear. Are you saying it was the Republicans and not the Democrats who enacted the Jim Crows Laws, segregated schools, ran the KKK, lynched Black Americans and wouldn't allow Blacks in the business establishments? Is that your claim?
I'm saying that the dixicrats swiched parties in the 60's and became republicans in protest of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. So as of 1964, the Democrats of the south became Republicans.

Let me ask you this - which party has spent the last few decades trying to curtail rights, such as abortion, voting, gay rights, trans rights ect.. and which party has been trying to protect peoples' rights?

Keep trying. You might even start gas-lighting yourself.

I want to talk about democrats. You're still talking about republicans.

This is completely made up fiction by the left. You have to lie about this because you have absolutely no defense for the long term racist actions by the Democrats. Of all the Democrats in the south, maybe 3 switched parties. Is that what you are trying to claim? 3 people? You expect us to believe that garbage? Pedal that crap somewhere else.

Answer the question in my post.

Qanon is no place to learn about US history, my friend!

Gaslight attempt - blocked!

You are just a damn fool, if you believe the Democrats give a crap about protecting what they tell you are are rights. I doubt that you have the fortitude to question your leftist leaders, they say, and you do. End of story. There is no "right" to abortion in our Constitution. It's only in the minds of the Marxists.

And the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Just for clarity, are you claiming the SCOTUS members who decided to uphold the right to a legal' abortion are "Marxists"?

And the taxes paid for your education did no good. Another life wasted.
Don't make personal insults here.

It is not good debate and it will cost you points. Get it?

No offense, but I don't trust the Cyber Ninjas. I think the results of their audit should be audited. To that end I am currently staffing a new company: Abacus Slayer Superheros LLC.

ASS will be staffed by highly trained individuals who have passed a 3rd grade math test. If qualified mail your application to:

Yes, abortion is often compared to slavery. They're practically the same thing. And the Justices sitting on the Court today are exactly the same Justices who upheld slavery.
Are they the same justices who conjured up a right to abortion?

What was the make up of the SC when this "right to abortion" was made. In the decision (7-2) the majority was made up of 5 R and 2 D.
Your rabbit trail of abortion (Roe vs Wade) has nothing to do with the OP regarding the AZ audit.

As a Arizona resident and living in Maricopa County I am disappointed by the action taken by the Republican controlled State Senate regarding the election. It is interesting that the Trump base believes half the bs coming out. The in fighting going on is one reason I left the Republican Party. I will reregister as a Republican when the Primaries come around. There are certain Republicans I do not want to see get reelected. AZ does not allow Independents to vote in Primaries.

And January 6th was not an insurrection.

You guys kill me. Listen I am 66 years old. My home has always been south west Georgia. I was in the 7th grade when busing started.

My parents and grandparents were always democrats. After the Civil rights act and the voting rights act suddenly a can of Goldwater was sitting on the TV.

Anyone who denies that white southerners went from democrat to Republican just wasn't there.

The problem is, the trust level in the last election was low, and the needs to be rectified before the next election, I have no confidence in what happened, way to many unanswered questions. I think things will only get worse if nothing is done about the next election We can't have Democrats making last minute changes to voting laws, without the authority to do so, and think everything will be okay.

No Justices conjured up the right to abortion.

Official abortion laws did not appear on the books in the United States until 1821, and abortion before quickening did not become illegal until the 1860s. If a woman living in New England in the 17th or 18th centuries wanted an abortion, no legal, social, or religious force would have stopped her.

The American Medical Association's crusade against abortion was partly a professional move, to establish the supremacy of "regular" physicians over midwives and homeopaths. More broadly, anti-abortion sentiment was connected to nativism, anti-Catholicism, and, as it is today, anti-feminism. Immigration, especially by Catholics and nonwhites, was increasing, while birth rates among white native-born Protestants were declining. (Unlike the typical abortion patient of today, that of the nineteenth century was a middle- or upper-class white married woman.) Would the West "be filled by our own children or by those of aliens?" the physician and anti-abortion leader Horatio R. Storer asked in 1868. "This is a question our women must answer; upon their loins depends the future destiny of the nation." (It should be mentioned that the nineteenth-century women's movement also opposed abortion, having pinned its hopes on "voluntary motherhood"—the right of wives to control the frequency and timing of sex with their husbands.)

Nonetheless, having achieved their legal goal, many doctors—including prominent members of the AMA—went right on providing abortions. Some late-nineteenth-century observers estimated that two million were performed annually (which would mean that in Victorian America the number of abortions per capita was seven or eight times as high as it is today). Reagan argues persuasively that our image of nineteenth-century medicine is too monolithically hierarchical: while medical journals inveighed against abortion (and contraception), women were often able to make doctors listen to their needs and even lower their fees. And because, in the era before the widespread use of hospitals, women chose the doctors who would attend their whole families through many lucrative illnesses, medical men had self-interest as well as compassion for a motive. Thus in an 1888 exposé undercover reporters for the Chicago Times obtained an abortion referral from no less a personage than the head of the Chicago Medical Society. (He claimed he was conducting his own investigation.) Unless a woman died, doctors were rarely arrested and even more rarely convicted. Even midwives—whom doctors continued to try to drive out of business by portraying them, unfairly, as dangerous abortion quacks—practiced largely unmolested.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The right to abortion existed until unscrupulous men dreamed up a self-serving law saying it didn't exist.

I respectfully suggest that before casting aspersions and making false statements in matters as weighty and fraught as abortion, you show people some common courtesy and learn a little about your subject.

We know Jan 6 wasn't an insurrection, it's crazy to think it was. What was the progression going to be, how were they to take over the country? You really think that was the plan, overthrow the United States of America? Please, lay it all out for us.

the trust level was low is a Trump supporter sound bite.
Well I have confidence the election was just fine. My opinion cancels yours.

Unanswered questions based on what? Something Trump said, RudyG, SPowell, OAN, Newsmax?
Bamboo ballots, smuggled in ballots from Asia, secret watermarks placed by Trump. Are those your questions?

So what you are saying for Arizona is that the Republican Governor, the Republican Maricopa Board of Supervisors and the Republican controlled State Legislature were incompetent in managing the election. Got it.:giggle:
