US employers add 313,000 jobs

That is good news that I hope the international trade tariffs won't torpedo.

Yes yes as it has been doing for years under Obama.

Sure has but the difference is these are full time jobs not the part time that Obama created. Please learn context and learn how to research before posting

That's true. It's merely part of the progress started under Obama.

Yep, that booming Obama economy was 1.2% when he left office, thank you Obama for giving us Trump

May 2010, January 2012 and October 2015 were the only months during Obama administration with monthly job growth over 330k. Why bring up Obama?

lmao...just out of curiosity, who was president in July 2016? You know, the date that your article references as this being the best since...?

We've gone through this many times before but it doesn't seem to filter through your noggin -- probably because it doesn't support your narrative.

Part-Time employment was DECREASING under Obama, not increasing, as you stated -- all while full-time employment was also growing.

Fake news.. Fake numbers.

Just like it was those 8 years of constant economic growth under Obama, fake numbers. Government lies. ;)

Yes it never got to pre recession levels and never generating the revenue needed or the GDP growth. What doesn't get through to you is context because of your ideology. Reduction was never felt by the electorate thus his record and legacy rejected

Went right over your head, didn't it?

For 8 years the Cons here snd in the Con media said the job growth under Obama were all lies.. Every single month when the job numbers were released they said the BLS and BEA lied to make the numbers look better.

But now those same numbers are dead on, no more lying? lol

Employment continues to show a strong US economy which bodes well for revenue growth from taxes thus improving deficits and hopefully addressing the debt

Well, that would be nice if it wasn't for the fact that we just gave out a massive tax cut which is going to require us to borrow about 80% more money this year than we did last year. Imagine how good our deficits and debt would look if we hadn't wasted it all giving it to millionaires and billionaires who didn't need it. We had job growth numbers this high in July of 2016 under Obama and he didn't need to run up a massive deficit to achieve them.

Because the trajectory of the economy isn't changing. It's still on the same path he left it on. When you pass a massive tax cut and claim it's going to create jobs, you expect a radical improvement not more of the exact same thing we had before.

Now you are changing the subject, since I completely undercut your previous claim that Obama added only part-time jobs. It's hard to believe that Obama added only part-time jobs when part-time jobs decreased and full-time increased. You can't even admit when you are wrong.

On your other claim that employment never reached pre-recession levels, that's wrong too (see below.) GDP at the end of Obama's term was higher than it ever was before.

Reduction was never felt by the electorate

Republicans ability to lie to the American people and distort reality about the incredibly good economic recovery under Obama is not President Obama's fault. Just like so many amazing things throughout history that African Americans did a white guy wants to come along later and pretend he did it. Sorry. Not this time. Although I must say Trump does kind of remind me of Fat Elvis.

Jobs aren't equal.

GOOD jobs lead to substantial growth in GDP. Part-time/seasonal work that are counted as real jobs do not.

Finally, we're getting real jobs at higher salaries that are being individually taxed less.

That creates a surge in GDP and an overall INCREASE in taxes assessed.

Math that social justice warriors can't understand.

Yes it never got to pre-recession levels

Apparently, you don't know how addition works. President Obama added a lot of full-time jobs during his presidency. The fact that we never got back to pre-recession levels just demonstrates how horrible the great recession(which started under Bush who implemented Tax cuts just like the ones Trump did) was. You seem to forget that we lost 2.6 million jobs in just 2008 alone before President Obama was even sworn into office.

That creates a surge in GDP and an overall INCREASE in taxes assessed.

Really? Then why are we borrowing over 80% more money this year than we needed to last year?

Not that I give Obama any personal credit for that, because I'm not someone who thinks the POTUS creates private sector jobs, but you are correct that PT employment while Obama was POTUS was going down and FT employment was going up. And as much as I didn't approve of Obama I'm not partisan enough to not give the man credit for taking over the helm of any economy in tatters and managing to keep it from collapsing, then presiding over years and years of job and stock market improvements. Trump was very lucky to take over the office when he did. 2008 was one of the worst years in my awareness of economic matters, and I'll hand it to Obama that he did quite well in spite of how bad things were.
