Update To “Sims” Video Game Features Teen Trans Characters With Chestbinders, Breast Removal Scars

Or how about a female Muslim character and a doctor visit for a FGM procedure.
That is seldom something the women chooses to do voluntarily.

Maybe the games and apps forum is more appropriate but culture does drive politics.

When we gripe around here about the decay of our culture and moral ethics, lets look back at garbage like the above mentioned popular game app.

And I thought the glorification of gun violence with the abuse of women was the worst it can get.

Obviously you have difficulty prioritizing. Here's a clue: Gun violence with the abuse of women IS much worse than characters choosing to dress in a manner YOU find offensive.

Typical overreaction from the right.

Meanwhile, there are games where reviews say:

“The goriest series ever! Crushing heads with doors, hammers, gutting people, ripping em apart.” (God of War)

And that gets nary a mention.

But chest binders? The horror.

Maybe to make you ask questions?
Im wondering why he would make such a silly claim if he thinks that he knows so much about FtM people? They dodnt wear binders for fun or because its popular.

The game, which is aimed at children from age 12, also enables players to place ‘packing’ or ‘tucking’ underwear’ on their sims, garments that give or hide the appearance of male genitalia.

In a statement, “The Sims 4” producer John Faciane called the update “a step in the direction of a more inclusive experience for Simmers.”

It’s just a simulation though right?

Why the hell do you care?

because the stupid game is giving options like it is real!!!!!!!!
Okay?

Prepar3D and Assetto Corsa are so lifelike, the military trains with the flight simulator and you break into a sweat going around the 21-degree banks at the old Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

What is unusual about reality in a video game?

OK, back to square one. Why not offer the foot binding option?
