Megyn Kelly announced her departure from Fox News on Monday night, saying on The Kelly File that she’s pleased to join “the journalists at NBC … who I greatly admire.” (Hey, how do Fox News fans feel about that ringing endorsement for the corporate home of Rachel Maddow and Matt Lauer — a place Fox spends so much time deriding?) And on Thursday morning, the channel announced her replacement: Tucker Carlson, the Prince of Preppiness, whose 7 p.m. ambush-o-rama, Tucker Carlson Tonight, has been an immediate attention-grabber since it started in November.

I wonder if this if FOX trying to give Kelly the middle finger as if almost saying 'we found a man to replace you' or if this is just a sign of the lack of new talent at FOX. Seriously, how this guy still has a job is beyond me. O'Reilly? Hannity? I get it. They're somewhat memorable. O'Reilly is an old conservative man who resonates with old conservative men. Hannity paired for years with that idiot Alan Colmes to make himself look smart. But... Carlson? That guy is about as bland and unmemorable as media personalities go and he's still there.
I really liked kelly before she went prime time. Her prime time personna.became very watered down. I hope she does well at nbc though. All in all i like her, i hope she got paid well to switch.
I also find it positive that the big networks are begining to poach conservative voices. They need some counter balance in their news.

Why are you so obsessed with Fox News? It would be like a bunch of right wingers posting about the failings of MSNBC. For a channel that you hate so much, you would think you wouldn't be thinking about them so much.
1 post on FOX News today, another post 6 days ago. The post before that on the 22nd of December. The post before that in November. So... in the span of 3 months, I've made 4 posts on FOX News.
Are you sure you know what the word 'obsession' means or are you lonely and in need of conversation?
Yea seems pretty obsessed. Don't think I have ever made a post about MSNBC.
That's right. Your flavor of 'obsession' if we go by the absurd standard you've set here is CNN.
You've made something like 10 posts about CNN today.
I like Carlson. I didn't like Kelly. Looks good to me. They needed to fill the spot. O'Reilly is as exciting as saltine crackers soaked in water. Hannity gets old with his repetition.
I would like to see David Webb take one of those slots.

Maybe he thought his plan would launch him into the top headlines on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. Guess it failed.
I'm sure the 10 people that read Vox per month will be interested though.

That's not a post about MSNBC. But try again.

I think Tucker's and Tom Shillue's shows are the most entertaining of the current shows on Fox.
On a related note:
Greta Van Susteren was on Rachael Maddows' show pluging her new show on ... get this ... MSNBC! Yep, can't make it up.
We're seeing the fallout of the Roger Ailes sexual harassment.
Sorta like Howdy Doody and Mr. Rogers going on a date.
