‘Get off the stage!’ Crowd yells at commencement speaker after she uses Spanish, mentions Trump

“It’s really sad,” the commencement speaker, Maria Elena Salinas, an anchor for Spanish language broadcast network Univision, said Tuesday. “And it’s a testament to what has happened in our country. Our country is really divided.”

It is divided more than it has been since the Vietnam war era, and not just over one issue as was the case back then. It is so divided between common sense and nonsense that we have a presidential candidate no less who is stirring up hatred of Hispanics to the point that people using Spanish are booed, and we have people advocating a North Korea style fence to seal off the United States. How sad.
