Ukraine's fight for Democracy is something we should all learn from. Ukraine's represents now what our Forefathers fought for and accomplished. It is who we were until we forgot (about 30 years ago) what Democracy is all about. We need to get back to who we were..............the ultimate bastion of Democracy!

UKRAINE AT 30: What is independent Ukraine’s greatest achievement?

For the past seven years, Ukraine has been resisting Russian aggression and effectively countering the Kremlin. This highlights Ukraine’s geopolitical importance as a bastion of democracy in Eastern Europe and as an opponent of attempts to revive the ghosts of imperialism and authoritarianism in the wider region. As Ukraine consolidates its independence further, the country’s role in world affairs and global democracy will continue to grow.

Huh

One of the most corrupt countries in the world.

If Ukraine is corrupt what does that make Russia? Putin needs to grow a little Hitler moustache so people know what he's up to.

We have very much forgotten what we stand for. The libertarian mind-set of conservatives has made us all about "every man for himself." The Republican fear of change has them willing to destroy democracy and make us a one party state. They have already made one branch of government that way. And they plan to expand it.

Sort of like the War of 1812 was for the USA.

"We want our independence; we deserve our independence, and we shall have it!"

Huh

There is corruption in every government. It is a fact of life. corruption is legal in the US government.

Russia is far more corrupt than Ukraine. Corruption in Ukraine does not give more corrupt Russia any right to attack peaceful people.

President Putin, pull your army back into your own country. Stop slaughtering civilians, hospitals and children. Stop attacking a smaller country that never attacked you. Live and let live.

Ukraine is a sovereign country being taken over by a Napoleonic dictator. His name is Putin, Vlad Putin and he'll take the rest of eastern Europe if we let him.

Where did I say otherwise?

Wrong again - Dems are the ones striving for one-party rule. That's why they're lying about what GOP elections laws actually do.
