Yep. The cost and technology for this operation doesn't seem very prohibitive. The asymmetry in the bomber's vulnerability to drones is pretty striking.
The skills and groundwork required to get drones that far into Russia should not be overlooked though.

The Russians are already paranoid. So if Ukrainian special ops guys are driving trucks carrying drones thousands of kilometers into Russian territory and destroying Russia’s bomber fleet,
that means more delays and inconvenience for legitimate Russian commerce. It will require more monitoring—documentation, inspections, highway checkpoints, and such.
They already do that to some extent, so I’m curious as how the Ukrainians were actually able to carry this out.

Seeing as how we just BROKE a very serious and solemn treaty in exchange for them giving up their nukes it is probably crystal clear that Ukraine needs to go the Israeli route, that is, acquiring them and refusing to admit they have them or don't have them.
Of course the problem is, if they do have them and don't admit to it, it limits their negotiating power.
Anyway, I won't blame them one bit if they do get their hands on them. We can't be trusted to stick to our treaties and promises anymore.
The best thing that ever happened for the west, that we are squandering, has been the value of Ukraine NOT being a vassal of Russia. Such a bright and clever people outshine Russians, by far. Denying the Russian orcs access to those brains is more important than ever.
Those strikes on Russian bombers, rail lines, airfields, and bridges weren’t just Ukraine acting alone, they were coordinated, funded and authorized by NATO.
The West is pulling the trigger.
The further NATO drives attacks into Russian territory, the closer it drags its own cities toward retaliation and destruction.
This won't stay one-sided forever.

One of the reasons the SBU is so effective is that 11,000,000 Russian families BEFORE the war had Ukrainian family connections of some type. And as half of Ukraine speaks Russian anyway, so it isn't a challenge to find individuals who can pass for Russian citizens (in Ukraine there are many times more Russian speakers than there are ethnic Russians).
Still, it is amazing that so many drones with warheads could be infiltrated into Russia, mounted on trucks, and driven to various locations loaded with these weapons without any snafu. And the timing was perfect.
The only part I am disappointed with is that this is a "one off" method of attack. Obviously, measures will be taken to make it more difficult to try again. But given that Russia has stripped may of its air defenses to defend Moscow and targets near Ukraine, the window of future opportunity may yet be open at least one more time.

Putin will kill as many Ukrainians as necessary in order to free them from the western worldIt's an interesting dilemma for Russia. This seems like something that might warrant a nuclear response (at least in some people's eyes), but they also want Ukraine to be a functional part of Russia. Perhaps they will opt for a smaller "tactical" nuclear strike, designed to show that they are, in fact, willing to use them. OTOH, this also could be seen as a way of confirming to the world that Ukraine has seriously compromised them in conventional warfare. Not a good look.

Sources say FPV drones were smuggled into Russia, along with mobile wooden cabins. The cabins were carried by trucks with the drones hidden inside. The cabin roofs opened remotely - and then the drones took off and zoned in on the nearby bases.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the operation as "an absolutely brilliant result" and said the Ukrainians' actions will "undoubtedly be in the history books".
He said planning for the operation began 18 months ago, and those involved “were withdrawn from Russian territory in time".
