Somewhere I heard the number was actually .04%. I like those odds. I will be setting up my booster shot next week as I just hit the 6 months. Still wear a mask when necessary and never been sick from Covid. It's living proof that Covid protocols and vaccines work, period.

And from an earlier post, we wouldn't need an upgraded vaccine for Delta if everyone had originally gotten vaccinated. That was the plan. The anti vaxxers regardless of their reasons, are why we're still fighting Covid. We live in a world full of uneducated, misinformed morons.

Yes, well a lethal pandemic which has so far killed over 5 million does tend to make folk fearful. Anyone who says he isn't fearful, or at least concerned about his or her health, is either a liar or an idiot. Or both. Probably both. Coincidentally they appear to be flag-waving, anti-government, anti-vaccination, anti-anything (except guns and bibles), conservatives.

Previous vaccines used whole viruses. The developers of mRNA vaccines decided to be clever and only use the spike. Hmmm.

I think you are missing the vaccine makers' reasoning -- if the ability to become immune naturally is impaired, continual frequent vaccination will be required. Good for profits.

It is very important to differentiate between cases and serious cases. No one cares about mild or symptomless cases.
