After years of using Ubuntu, I transitioned over to Mint for a while because Ubuntu had gotten so resource hungry my old laptop started getting to tired to operate normally.

Then I heard about MATE about a week ago.

Now, it's on my personal laptop. :mrgreen:

I have less than 24 hours on it, but so far....I'm really enjoying the change.

I have an old desktop that has xp on it.. hum.. This looks like it would be nice to put on and play with.
