Mitch McConnell’s net worth is a measly $35 million. If that is “uber rich” to you then your account books must be a financial horror show.
I’d take it. I’d do what rich folks do. I’d invest it and be making 10%+ on it, making $3.5M/yr, borrow at 6% against the equity, not touch the principle or the investment return, and pay ZERO tax on everything. All I’d pay is the 6% to the bank, and if I’m a heavy investor in the bank I’m paying myself.
Guys like you just don’t get it. I worked and saved two careers, averaging around 70 hours a week work for much of my work years, to arrive at a low six figure income in retirement.
Now get this and understand what it means. That low six figure income allows me to eek out a middle-class lifestyle yet I’m in the 8th percentile of income in the U.S.
That means NINTY-TWO PERCENT of Americans are worse off than I. Only a bit more than $100K in this America means 92% of Americans are making less than you.
Starting to understand?
