This is a good development.

Most of the weapons used in crime in Mexico come from the United States. Those gangs wouldn't be so influential if they didn't have the guns that come from the United States.

I'm glad to see the president of Mexico is finally admitting that fentanyl is made there and comes here. Finally Mexico will start doing something about those labs and start shutting them down.

That is a good way to stop the drug from coming here. Shutdown the production of it.

Hopefully this will help save lives here in the United States and in Mexico.

Gee look at that. Biden cuts a deal with Canada on Migrants and with Mexico on fentanyl.

Of course knee jerk R's were talking about sending US military across the border into Mexico. Now there was a great idea...NOT!!!!

Hummmmm.......R's want to send in the troops on Mexico. Putin attacks his neighbor in a war of conquest.

Biden cuts deals with our neighbors in continuance of our shared goals.

ANYBODY THINK BIDEN HAS A BETTER IDEA? Anybody think there are similarities between current R's and Putin? No wonder they are such comfy bedfellows.

Isn't that interesting. Mexico has a gun smuggling problem coming from the USA. Fox never reported this to me. I wonder why.
Will we be paying for a wall for Mexico to keep out Americans?

MAGA are such idiots.

Don't you recall Obama's plan to intentionally send guns to Mexico to track them? They did find at least one such gun, the one that killed a US border agent.

This is good news I hope the results are effective.

OK, I give up. What is teh point of this reply?
That guns going from the US to Mexico is an established fact, heck the US government even sent a bunch to Mexico to see what happens

Guns and drugs have been "cracked down on" forever....and here we are!

But I approve of seeing Biden do something sane and reasonable, ineffective though it may be. Sending the military would be ineffective too, and would be far worse.

This is a start.

We can only hope that this will help.

Is there one solution to this? NO.

We don't live in a one size fits all world.

We now have a starting place and can build from there.

This is much more than what trump did or the stupid suggestions of the republicans.

Unlike what trump did (which was nothing) and unlike what the republicans want to do, this actually has a chance to help the situation.

Yeah, I agree. It may result in temporary disruption, but guns, drugs and people are impossible to stop.

This will cut into gun sales and that is unacceptable to the NRA. Wait until they call it "UnConstitutional" and a stepping stone to take away people's guns.
