U.S. SUVs are sixth worse source of carbon emissions

If gas hit 5 dollars a gallon and we had all the resulting inflation due to high transport costs which of the two do you think is more likely?

1. Candidates backing EVs get elected.

Or

2. Candidates hostile to EVs but very supportive of more domestic oil production get elected.
We get it. You think only candidates who are hostile to evs and supportive of oil can get elected.

That's not true. That's just a Biden talking point.

If oil were scarce because, say, we didn't approve massive oil projects on pristine land, or go begging murderous dictators to increase production, people would rapidly move to evs.

Instead the current administration is doing the opposite.

I am saying that if gas is very expensive at the pump, then candidates that promise cheaper gas will get elected. That is just reality. People will always go for the party that promises abundance.

You can believe that or not, but it doesn't change the reality of it.

People with your attitude is why we have such a hard time fighting climate change.

Thankfully we have begun out voting you. Not perfectly, but more and more often and in more places.
