Putin and Merkel were BFF from 2005 - 21. Indeed, Merkel was born and raised in the former East Germany and was a PR operative for the East German Kremlin owned communist party. This while Putin who is fluent in German was KGB in Dresden in East Germany.

The Nord Stream Serpent pipelines under the Baltic were always a post Cold War Russo-German geostrategic scheme of energy dependence and blackmail against the EU and NATO with the ultimate goal of ejecting the US from Europe and clearing the decks for Putin to invade Ukraine. As we know that's not how the NS Serpent pipeline went however as in the fall of 2022 Ukraine with USA acquiescence blew it up into a pile of junk at the bottom of the Baltic where it remains as such.

And yes it does cause a commotion when it goes public but the US, EU and NATO had to know the sinister schemes the BFF Putin-Merkel were calculating against 'em. It worked, using the Denmark-NATO listing station on Bornholm Island which is right off the German coast.

Obama listening in on the anti NATO sinister schemes by the BFF Putin-Merkel was redeemed. Anti EU. Anti USA. So there's a hellovalot more to it than is in passing in your kiss off post.

By not trying to devise ways to annex Danish territory? How about that? Denmark has demonstrated that they're a reliable ally and the President of the United States is scheming ways to take territory from them. That's really scummy behaviour.

But I feel America needs to do what it has to do to secure access to Greenland for national security and to access its natural resources.

Or we could just recycle the public releases used by the Soviets when they conquered their neighbors.
