The Numbers
■ 266,000 jobs were added in November. Analysts had expected a gain of about 180,000, according to MarketWatch.
■ The unemployment rate was 3.5 percent, down from the previous month.
■ Average hourly earnings rose 0.2 percent, with a year-over-year gain of 3.1 percent.
The Takeaway
The return of tens of thousands of striking workers to their jobs at General Motors helped supercharge hiring totals last month.
The reassuring jobs report, released Friday morning by the Labor Department, offered a counterpoint to renewed anxieties about an escalating trade war and a weakening global economy.
Isn't this a good thing?
Because Obama was black and blue and Trump is white and red.Why were those same numbers and higher never good under Obama but now they suddenly are?

Two reasons, obama is a democrat and he's black. Last day of the obama administration, the economy sucks as far as republicans are concerned even though W left the country in a wreck for obama. First day of trump administration, economy is great.
Lemmings.

The Obama recovery of the last seven years remains the worst in postwar American history.

You would rather them being in food stamp lines. We really need to look at the kinds of jobs that are being created. A recently article came out showing that nearly half of Americans are working in low wage jobs (Almost half of all Americans work in low-wage jobs - CBS News).
So yes, while people are getting jobs, if they are such as the aforementioned, it doesn't mean much.
Middle-Class Incomes Surging – Thanks to Trump Policies | The Heritage FoundationThe latest Census Bureau Current Population Survey data now show that middle-class incomes, after adjusting for inflation, have surged by $5,003 since Donald Trump became president in January 2017. Median household income has now reached $65,976 – an all-time high and up more than 8 percent in 2019 dollars under the Trump presidency.

Bwhahahahahahahaha!!!! Yeah, because The Bush Economic Disaster was the worst in postwar American history.
Also, I love how you say postwar as if we're not fighting any of those anymore.
Please tells us. If Obama's recovery was so bad why are you so happy that Trump is creating fewer jobs than Obama?
A low-paying full-time job is better than a low-paying part-time job.
Obama encouraged part-time jobs with his laws and regs.

More bad news for the Democrat-Socialists. EVERYTHING in the economy is looking fantastic as Trump continues to Keep America Great. Things are already good and just keep getting better. Everyday. EVERYDAY!
In the mean time, the Democrat-Socialists continue to lie, deceive, distract, deflect and disdain.
Lowest unemployment in 50 years. Wage rates up 3.1% and rising with a bullet. Trump programs work and are working for ALL AMERICANS.
Watching the Fake News Guys "report" on Trump is like watching a home sports reporter saying that the winless home team is among the best in the country.
Will ANYTHING honest about Trump EVER be reported by the Fake News Guys?

The U.S. economy blew away expectations, adding 266,000 jobs in November, boosted by resolution of the General Motors (GM) strike. The jobs report showed private-sector payrolls grew by 254,000 workers, including roughly 46,000 returning GM employees. Average hourly wage growth came in at 3.1%, also better than expected. The jobless rate matched a 50-year-low 3.5%. After the robust November jobs report, Dow Jones industrial average and broader stock market futures pointed to a strong open, helped by positive China trade news.

Obama is bi-racial. No shame in having a white mother.
More people working and fewer people on food stamps is a good thing. Median family income up is a good thing. Wages rising is a good thing. All are happening under the Trump administration. But the thing is that a low paying full time job doesn't help with the overall economy as the people who are working these jobs still qualify for public assistance.
No, I wouldn't rather them be in line for food stamps. The fact of the matter is that the wages being paid are so low that even if people are working, they are still eligible for food stamps, which should be a problem for those fiscal hawks.
With regards to Obama, there is blame to go around, as not only it was recently found that 63% of jobs created since 1990 have been "low wage, low-hour jobs." (American jobs are getting worse, a new index shows) So what we are looking at isn't just the problems the Obama administration helped to perpetuate, but structural issues within our economy.
What to Expect From the November Jobs Report - The New York Times
Job, jobs, jobs, more jobs under the Trump administration.
payrolls up
jobless rate lowest since 1969
The underemployment rate fell.
Our economy is strong headed for 2020!
