And I completely agree. I was once on a forum where I can say that I was maliciously targeted by a mod. But that forum was not this.

That said, there are still people who believe (or claim to believe) that they were infracted for partisan reasons. And the majority of posters here frequently (and rightly, imo) mock them for this.

Yes, Ive seen people make that silly claim here as well. Ive never been dinged for political content. I get the occasional points for being a bit too personal in my attacks. But thems the rules and if applied fairly, which they seem to be, im ok with that. Sometimes, the points are worth it.;)

Could the claims that Twitter was being biased not be just as equally silly? When you dig into the facts, Twitter respected numerous requests from both sides of the aisle that tweets be taken down. It's odd to claim that Twitter was anti-Republican just as they were respecting multiple requests from Republicans to remove posts.

Yep, as it turns out these former Twitter officials brought in to expose Twitter's liberal bias actually ended up exposing special treatment given to Trump and testified that Trump himself was the one begging Twitter to delete tweets he didn't like, meanwhile no such requests have come from the Biden administration.

It does seem that there were far more on the right that got banned or had their exposure limited than there were people on the left. But with regard to the laptop story, that was clear interference and dishonesty by the FBI. They knew the laptop was ral because they had it for nearly a year. But they told the tech companies it was Russian disinformation in the hope that they would bury a story that might hurt their chosen candidate right before an election.

Were other news organizations that didn't initially run with the story doing the same thing? Fox News was one of the many other news organizations which didn't run the story. The more important aspect of this is Twitter blocked the story for one day, and even during that time did not suppress posts discussing the story.

Fox News has been talking about Hunter Biden's laptop for sure -- how did you conclude otherwise? You don't remember the interviews with Tony Bobulinski?
There's collusion going on -- between Left-aligned MSM and the Biden admin.

Politics is a zero sum game. Some of the FBI's activities might have had a negative impact on Trump's political ambitions. But you can try till the cows come home, unless you can define their intent and their motive in those terms you have NO CASE. So just stop.

And there was collusion going on between right leaning MSM and the Trump Administration. Collusion does not exist in the US Code. Collusion only matters as a term art referencing possible foreign intervention and intrigue. It literally has no meaning for domestic operators.

I'm referring to the initial turn down of the laptop story by most of the major news networks. The New York Post was the only paper to first carry it after others were doubtful of its veracity; this is what made Twitter and other social media companies doubt it. The interesting thing here is the convenient dismissal of the actual government involvement in removing tweets, since the former administration was doing that as well.

The point is that the FBI was intentionally engaging in an attempt to influence an election. Thats just a fact. You dont care because it was done to aid your side. Thats just shortsighted and hypocritical.
 
So I guess this is the new cult strategy:

Hold hearings to see if their little fantasy is true. The hearings embarrass them and show their orange lard and master is the only one guilty of their accusation.

Then, just start calling the cult fantasy -- the truth of which their failed hearings were designed to find-- a fact.
