Tucker is a russian asset

Don't know what it's going to take for cons on the right to realize that this guy hates America and is feeding them russian propaganda.

It won't be long before Tucker's world "implodes upon him"..... evil always extracts its due on those who submit themselves unto it.

he should have learned from what happened with Glenn Beck, and the loud mouth Alex Jones... but such types of fools rarely learn... they are the type that do not belive fire is hot, until gasoline drenches their ass and ignites. It always comes to that, by their own doing.

He's a useful idiot.

And also a useless one.

Why would Russia blow up their own pipeline?

At what point will that cockroach be tried for aiding and abetting the enemy?!

I suppose that will happen right after liberals start getting charged with aiding and abetting stupidity

Stupid comment. Care to answer the question
Arf-arf.

Stay on topic. Here's a refresher:

You answer the question.

Why do Americans watch a traitor?

Why would Russia blow up their own pipeline?

Why would Russia take their own functioning pipeline offline when Europe was perfectly willing to keep buying more of the gas that came from it?

Thats the point. If they can take if offline anytime they want, why would they blow it up?

Advocating the points of view an enemy agrees with is a freedom. Should Vietnam war protesters have been jailed for agreeing with North Vietnam that the war was wrong? We need other solutions - voices to counter him, and watching for him committing actual crimes like being a paid operative of Russia.

Nobody cares. What a stupid repeat of a stupid deflection of a sealion post. Get a grip and get on topic.

The topic is Tucker Carlson, not pipelines. The example provided by the OP is but one of many. Why do people watch someone who supports our enemy? When, if ever, will they learn? That's the topic as written plainly in the OP.

If you're gonna come back with "Which way did he go, George?" Ima play the cartoon for all of us.

Get on topic or go away. Pipelines are irrelevant. I don't give a **** about your sealion posts.

Aiding and abetting the enemy is not free speech. Never has been, never will be.

Wow! Every now and then Craig you amaze me and become the voice of reason in this endless sea of Marxist misfits.

Because Putin is desperate and wants to inflict more than just economic damage. I've even disagreed with the pro-Ukrainians on this -- this is not just an economic attack, because as you say (I'm agreeing with you), it doesn't make sense if this is strictly with economics in mind.

It's not just an attempt to rattle energy markets. I mean, that's *part* of the calculus, sure, but as you say, shutting off the gas did the same damage with a lower profile. Russia's not aiming for a lower profile. This is ecological damage they're inflicting. They are deliberately polluting international waters -- European waters. That's the point. They want Europe to know that they're willing to inflict a lot of pain beyond just economics.

I know you are desperate to turn this thread into a liberal circle jerk where you can actually contribute, but the question is, who bombed that pipeline. If you can make an argument that Russia blew up their own pipeline for some reason, make it. And if it wasnt them, who was it? But since you arent prepared to actually have a mature discussion, maybe you should move along.

I think Putins play was to blackmail Europe with gas by threatening to cut it off when they need it most, during the coming winter. Now, with the pipeline damaged, he has no leverage. So I just dont see it as making any sense for him to do this.

In all fairness, that is not an unreasonable position, but I have a different take.

Putin's big gamble is that he can create an energy crisis in Europe such that European democracies put pressure on European/Western/NATO governments to stop supporting Ukraine. The question has been, could he break European/Western solidarity with Ukraine before the pressure on his own regime started to build within Russia. At the beginning of the war and even until even a month ago, it looked like time was on his side; however, the Ukrainian advances changed the dynamics. Now Putin is facing the pressure of time.

And if you don't think so, look at Putin's moves within the last week. Domestically, he has called for a full mobilization effort, which means bringing any able bodied person into the military conflict. That's bad enough because it's a sign that the propaganda that Russians are watching on TV is misleading. But what's worse is...the people are fighting the draft. They are attacking recruiters. They are fighting in the streets. They are leaving Russia by the tens of thousands every day.

Look at what Putin is doing in Ukraine. He's rushing to get these sham "referendums" completed so that he can claim that Donbas and Crimea are now Russia proper. Again, he doesn't even have this region under firm Russian control and he's pushing for referendums, going door to door and telling people they must vote under the threat of military/police force.

The events now make it clear that this was an act of desperate sabotage. Putin knows time is now not on his side, and he must take drastic measures to convince people he is still the macho badass that Tucker Carlson masturbates to every night.

Sounds more like skepticism of the idea to me.

Political speech that agrees with an enemy is generally. Some Americans even wanted the US to ally with Hitler. Actions to help Hitler defeat the US would be another matter. People can advocate that the US change radically, change alliances or form of government, change the constitution, almost anything. Calling for violence against the president or threats of violence are another matter (but 'Lock her up!' was allowed)

The cons on the right can't realize it, they are deliberately ignorant.
