Yes, if the people have the will, the support and the strength to end it quickly so as to limit their losses, but they don't, nor at this point, do they even have a say in whether the war should end. They have no vote and are running out of soldiers. Many that haven't already been killed or wounded are deserting. Back along they were in a stronger position to negotiate a better deal, but at this point, they need to salvage the nation, give up crimea and rebuild their nation

That wasn't the sequence or even what happened. I didn't "skip" over your question. I answered your other demanding question while you offered nothing in terms of your own position. Rather, you chose a manipulative ploy in the way of that demanding question to play gotcha, but I answered it honestly.
