Tucker Carlson says Fox is a propaganda network that manipulates their mostly elderly audience.

So how does Tucker think he’s any different?
Fox's legal dept have said that Tucker Carlson's statements are not be be believed.

Now comes the claim that you can't expect to literally believe the words that come out of Carlson's mouth. And that assertion is not coming from Carlson's critics. It's being made by a federal judge in the Southern District of New York and by Fox News's own lawyers in defending Carlson against accusations of slander. It worked, by the way.

Just read U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion, leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers: The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

She wrote: "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."

Vyskocil, an appointee of President Trump's, added, "Whether the Court frames Mr. Carlson's statements as 'exaggeration,' 'non-literal commentary,' or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same — the statements are not actionable."

According to Judge Vyskocil, “Fox persuasively argues . . . that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer arrives with an appropriate amount of skepticism about the statements he makes." She doesn't stop there, writing that “[w]hether the Court frames Mr. Carlson's statements as exaggeration, non-literal commentary, or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same—the statements are not actionable."

Judge Vyskocil also pointed out that Carlson said “sounds like" prior to saying the word extortion, which “would put any reasonable viewer on notice that Carlson himself doubts the veracity of the source of these statements and that the listener should as well." President Trump appointed Judge Vyskocil to the bench in 2019.

We already knew that, tuck tuck. It was your business model on that station, as well.

Someone in another thread was ranting about how the MSM was manipulating people into hating Trump.
When I asked how that could be because according to ratings, every seems to be watching FOX and no one is watching MSM, I did not get a reply.

AND there are still Righties on here who link to Fox News. The following is obviously VERY true............

He's obviously not wrong, we see it here every day, but it seems he's still pissed off about being fired.
Tucker's an untanned turd, and Bannon is Satan's cabana boy.

But yes - FOX's primary mission is keeping their elderly audience paralyzed with fear.

Donald doesn't like Tucker any more.

Tucker adored Fox until they canned his ass.

Now they're totally evil and screw with the minds of the helpless elderly?
