New York (CNN Business)Fox News host Tucker Carlson was angered after Congressman Matt Gaetz attempted to rope him into a scandal involving allegations related to sex trafficking of a minor, a person familiar with the matter said.
"It pissed him off," the person familiar with the matter explained to CNN on Wednesday.

Gaetz, who has strongly denied allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl and paid for her travel with him, seemed to attempt to draw Carlson into the controversy during a bizarre Tuesday night interview.

I watched this interview. Priceless. You can't buy the expression on Tucker';s face as Gaetz dropped line after line that attempted to connect Tucker with his own intersexual problems.

What's with tucker? It's ok for him to lie about other folks but not folks lying about him? What goes around, comes around.

Tucker's main problem is his wealth. I don't care but he is apparently connected to the Swanson fortune (as in the TV dinners I ate in the 60s when my parents were traveling).

He's a spoiled rich kid. The idea that he might face consequences for anything, let alone someone else's problems, is terrifying to him.

****er Carlson is one of the worst hatemongers in all of media. I am going to LOVE it if the loose lips of that frat boy Gaetz sinks his career!

Tucker's main problem is his wealth. I don't care but he is apparently connected to the Swanson fortune (as in the TV dinners I ate in the 60s when my parents were traveling).

They were in aluminum trays with tin foil covers. The fried chicken was good, turkey dinner, and Salisbury steak and potatoes. Back then, real people cooked that food, like school cafeterias used to. The early Swanson meals were actual meals, plus many had a little dessert. By the mid-70's they and Hungry Man went south in quality and are today inedible.

I have always found the expression on his face to be funny.

He always looks like someone just hit him in the face.

I had a few myself back in the day.

Was Gaetz lying? He seemed to be talking about a dinner he and one of his "dates" shared with Carlson and wife. As well as Carlson's own similar troubles...

I am speaking in general. I've struggled a few times watching his show and it's such bullshit and so childishly filled with anger I can't watch his act.

Quote without comment:

"A Man Who Boozes

"An Irish Poem of Unknown Origin

"It was a year ago, September
a day I well remember
I was walking up and down
in drunken pride
when my knees began to flutter
and I fell down in the gutter
and a pig came by and lay down by my side

"As I lay there in the gutter
thinking thoughts I could not utter
I thought I heard a passing lady say,
"You can tell a man who boozes
by the company he chooses..."
And with that, the pig got up and walked away."

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

I highly doubt CNN and their "person familiar with the matter" has any idea what the hell is going on over at FoxNews.

That said, Tucker Carlson is a pile as a commenter and odds are is fine with the idea of controversy keeping his name (and program) in the news. We are presuming ethics and moral code for his show and that is ill applied.

Another unnamed source from CNN? Shocking.

I do agree with you that Gaetz was trying to get empathy from Carlson and he was not having any of it.

It's funny how a bunch of rubes actually think. Tucker Swanson Carlson actually is one of them. He is a full on Trust fund baby who is using them for fame and more money.

B...b...but I thought CNN hired the elites.

I remember the fried chicken was over the top greasy but it tasted pretty good...this was in the mid 70s.

So you have another unnamed source being quoted on CNN and the usual idiots immediately eat it up and respond with teenage ad homs against Tucker Carlson. There seems to be no self awareness, or character, remaining on the American left.

Funny but I was thinking the same thing about the Right. A bunch of deceived people following a Pied Piper into one-party fascism.
