this tampon is an Instrument of mass destruction, who takes bribes from the CCP, burns down his city and installs tampons in the boy's wash room.

What about a 'Christian' Who Doesn't Live Like One?​

Everyone knows somebody who calls himself or herself a Christian, but doesn't act like one. Christians struggle with how to think about these folks.

we need to assess who to vote for correct?

should we vote Criminals into office? probably not.

how do we know who the Criminals are? easy, study and read the Tru News obviously.

the Tru News tells me to not vote for any tampon like candidates; many of those types were on the Blue ballots last year and were kept out from winning.

the battle isn't over either, in 2026, there will be more tampons and pyromaniacs trying to get elected.

life isn't always fair, and real choices may not be available.

we may need to take the Daisy approach and abstain from voting as the most viable choice.

do we have any Rafters in our own eyes. check the mirror, my suspicion is that you may have a few planks of annoying size in yur eye? if so, pull them out and come back.

You are being contemptuous, bongsaway. But I presume you are speaking from a position of relative privilege. That bumper sticker is incredibly sad and disheartening. Don't you see what a bumper sticker like "Trust God and Call it a Day" this is saying? It's saying that the driver has given up. The bumper sticker and the person who wrote it and the person who put it on their car is saying that they believe the world is screwed beyond repair and that it cannot be made better. That the bumper sticker driver can only leave it in the hands of an almighty mover of all things, and a call it a day.

If the car's owner had not been a believer, they might as well have put a bumper sticker that says "I'm Still Waiting for Superman" on the car's rear bumper. Whether or not your a believer, how utterly broken do you have to be in mind and spirit to believe this? To believe that we cannot make this world a better place to live in? To just put it all back in the hands of God? The men and women who built this country, who connected it with trains, with telegraph and electrical wires, with roads and bridges; who built our hospitals; who built and served in our schools; who cleaned our streets and tended their neighborhoods, were nearly all of them churchgoing Christians. They never would have put that nonsense on the back of their cars (or horse carriages) anything that told the world "Sorry, I cannot serve my fellow man and make this world a better place to live in today. I am too busy waiting on the Rapture." Ridiculous.

It's probably because I am contemptuous about organized religion of any fashion. In my opinion they are self serving and way too many people use it to suck the life out of others. The men who built America were tyrants who would step on anyone to get what they wanted. I do not view them as some kind of hero. It also might be because I'm old and know bit more of our real history than many others.

I have been poor most of my life, some from my parents divorce, mostly from my own blunders and wasting many years on hard drugs. I'm no senator's son.

I can emphasis with your upbringing. My folks did not have much money either. But then, it was the years following the depreciation first, then WWII, and no one had money. We depended ourselves and the community, particularly our church community, to hold our lives together.

Your rants against religion seem to stem from anger, frustration, and resentment. I hope you can find a way out of the dark place you're in. Maybe give the church a chance? You may be surprised by what you find.
