Trumpsters, Can You Please Tell Me Why Michael Flynn Lied And Pleaded Guilty? Please Help Me.

Exactly. We're on the same wavelength here. I imagine you have read some transcripts of Trump-speak. It's a ****ing train wreck. The man is illiterate, but when he manages to accidentally form a partial sentence whatever comes out of his mouth is, as you said, an outright, obvious lie or thoroughly, completely insane or both.

Yeah, and when Trump does manage to string together two sentences on a 5th grade level, it's a pleasant surprise for the mainstream media. They hold him to a ridiculously low bar compared to eloquent, competent Presidents like Obama. The MSM does not realize how much they have carried water for the imbecile Trump the past few years. They have bent over backwards giving this idiot the benefit of the doubt too many times.

I think there have been like two times when Trump managed to read a teleprompter without ****ing it all up. Both times, the media gushed over him. "Oh, that was so presidential." "Oh, he was so articulate." "He really hit the right tone." I rolled my eyes until I had a headache.

I know, it's so annoying. The idiot Trumpsters who say the media is out to get him don't have a ****ing clue.

I recommend a column by Bret Stephens in today's NY Times. Made me rethink my thoughts about the Flynn case. He was a bit of a loose cannon, Obama was probably right to warn Trump about him, and he didn't last long. But Stephens' case is that liberals shouldn't forget the the legal and due process principles we (and conservatives) often preach in dealing with Flynn-like people. That Trump doesn't believe in due process, treats the law as an inconvenience, insults a good portion of the US population, proposed war crimes and pardoned those that committed them should not have us drawn into the sleazy rhetorical vortex that is his approach to public life.
