trumps lawyers says he returned the documents

Wow!

I will be sure to teach my kids that.

The democrats say that if the police are at someone's house it means they are definitely guilty.

"Of what?"

My reply: Whatever they come up with, can lie about and get away with.
Yes. But I hear we’re not gonna believe what Trump’s top people are finding on Obama’s secret birth certificate.

Or, all those boxes full of other stuff they should never have taken.
Or, since, you know, we've never had to do something like this before everybody had to get all their ducks in a row before they went and got all the stolen stuff from the ex president's house.

The bigger question is why so many people like yourself support a thief.

Nobody has to do this now...they just want to.
Of course we did. Part of the government's job is not allowing people to steal top secret, and above, information from the people. You simply support a thief.

Or, all those boxes full of other stuff they should never have taken.
Really?

What were all those other boxes that they should not have taken? And why should they have not taken them?

Honestly does it make a difference at this point? Unless it can be proven they knew differently, the lawyers can stick with, he told us he gave them all back. I seriously doubt if it's true but prove it isn't.

Anyway, no matter what tales they create, stories they spin or excuses they use, trump had the documents illegally.

Even if true - "Mitigation".

The problem is this: You have no ****ing idea what documents were found. (except for passports that never should have been taken)
Defend the thief.

Defend the thief.

Defend the traitor.

Nothing like American Justice where a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law - unless the accused is a Republican, based on the action of democrats anyway.

By the way - you are obviously referring to president Biden and his son Hunter, right?

Ah deflect, deflect!! Trump has always been a “ME” guy and a liability.

Silly comment that demonstrates a lack of knowledge of what the term you cited actually means.
Legally, it serves to distinguish our criminal justice system from those that require the defendant to prove their innocence. Here, the prosecution must prove your guilt; you don't have to prove your innocence.

But it obviously doesn't mean people must presume someone is innocent until convicted. In fact the very nature of being indicted is a statement that the state does believe someone is guilty, and they believe they can prove that guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

The reason this came up is that archivists realized in February there were still more materials missing. They were not looking for copies.

So the next thing that we will [ultimately] learn is that the Oval office was bugged; Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower were/are bugged and/or there are informants somewhere around Trump.

Do you realize that you are claiming that the receipt that the FBI left at Mar-a-lago and has submitted to the Court is a fraud.

Look for those that believe that...just leave the country. You either don't believe IT and are dealing in shameless mendacity or you do believe it in which case WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE!!!!! Oh wait, I almost forgot, you are trying to burn the Republic to the ground.
No... absolutely not what I was claiming at all. That honestly is beyond absurd, especially and specifically in this case. Other cases? I'll answer at a later date.

I think back to a FISA warrant app that I heard about or read about somewhere dealing with the very early days of Trump. As I recall, it contained ~15+ "typos" that a judge has since said were significant enough that if answered truthfully, this particular warrant would not have been signed.

But who really knows? I may have facts mixed up.

"Burn the Republic to the ground." - No way in hell. Please don't even write that in humor. Not me, grandparents, parents, kids, or anyone else in this extended family. My family has worked very hard and we have been blessed/extremely lucky to have achieved what we have - enough for several unborn generations to come.

And this would be a surprise? If anybody deserves to be surrounded by informants and bugs IT'S DONALD TRUMP.

Then stop trying to band-aide Fascist Trump and if you don't; know he is a Fascist then you fit the category I described earlier, people that would not know a Fascist from a hole in the wall.

AND to the bolded, Do you ever think about what you are posting before you post it or do these gems just flow to the keyboard from between your ears with no logical filtering.....random musings. No wonder Trump supporters say "Donnie is one of us.....he says what we say". That is finally something I can depend upon.

Do you truly believe that -- re: an indictment, I mean? Perhaps I know a few more than my share in which indictment was used more like a threat rather than for true justice.

Anyone close to you - or closer - ever been indicted or arrested?

It is absolutely amazing the lengths one will go to prove innocence (or NG) when that person knows with 100% certainty that the person about to be [threatened with] indicted or arrested is in fact 100% innocent.

Or, all those boxes full of other stuff they should never have taken.

Who? Trump? Yeah.....that was kinda the point of going and getting all of it.

Interestingly, when Trump complained about the passports, having watched on CC TV, it was curious that he didn't make a big deal about them having taken them from somewhere they weren't supposed to be going, leaving the only way they got taken was to be mixed in with everything else.

Threres a pretty good potential CT about why they would have all been together, but I'll be the bigger man and not float it.

Statistically, with federal indictments, they have a 95% conviction rate, meaning that the case against the defendant was of course proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Might have something to do with the amount of leg work that goes into making the case before even going for the indictment. Hell, they are so efficient that in the end, only about 2% of those indicted even bother going to trial, choosing to take plea deals more often that not.

Even if they found files that is not necessarily a crime. I know the democrats are so blinded by the party commands to hate Trump that they don't understand the legal process but most Presidents have been in the same position of having some materials that should have stayed in the white house. Trump is the democrats worst nightmare because he will buck them all the way. The Congress is going back to the Republicans, both House and Senate and Joe is going to see investigations concerning his business dealings and his families. In addition the current AG is going to be brought to answer questions before the Congress. Pelosi may retire because she will not be the Speaker any longer and Chuck will be just a pain in someone's ass in the Senate.
You seem to be overlooking the fact that Trump was asked to return the documents and didn’t. Then a subpoena was issued, same result. That was the problem.

So trumps lawyers says he returned the documents but how is this they found the documents at his house people are saying
searching his house wasnt justified well they found the documents so obviously hes guilty they were at his house.

So another false statement from team Trump. What else is new?

This is the day the Judge Magistrate rules on unsealing the Affidavit that was part of the application for search warrant.

Of course CNN supports unsealing it. Ruthless....just ruthless.

They sit there on their sets in their suits wearing their plastic smiles trying to look like a news organization desperate to have something else to fondle and pick through.....legal ramifications be damned.

They are just one tiny little rung on the ladder above Alex Jones......one......tiny.......rung
