Trump Admin says intelligence is irrelevant
we're flying by the seat of Trump's pants
Trump's pants are America's North Star
Don Jr.
WHAT SOURCE OF INTELLIGENCE DOES TRUMP BELIEVE IS MORE RELIABLE THAN THE USIC?
.
Nah. From what I read, there was widespread doubt that multiple 30,000-lb anti-bunker munitions would be able to "eliminate" Fordo. No, it’s definitely the boobies we have for officers at the Pentagon.
The President only knows the options he’s given by the Pentagon. And if you’re reading mere doubt than they’re idiots too.Nah. From what I read, there was widespread doubt that multiple 30,000-lb anti-bunker munitions would be able to "eliminate" Fordo.
That Bibi and Donnie are gullible "boobies" is a given. That they believe what they want to be true is also a given.
It sounds to me like YOU want to condemn American service men and women to another forever war, and with it more 9/11’s. Why would you want to repeat the same failed history resulting in more dead Americans? Why would you say that? Are you trying to support an oppressive theocracy kills Americans and its own people. Why would you want mass killers to have a nuclear weapon?
The President only knows the options he’s given by the Pentagon.
Not so. Trump makes up realities to suit himself. The President only knows the options he’s given by the Pentagon.
If it’s US intelligence then you can generally count on it being wrong so I don’t blame him for not trusting it.Trump says their reports are wrong.
Trump knows better.
Nope, and I didn't loudly agitate for him to bomb them.
Yet here you are, demanding that Donald solve your Iranian problems for you, when you could be putting in a day's work for a change and dealing with it yourself. But instead, all we get is whining about what you expect B-2 pilots to do, what you expect Donald to do, what you expect everybody else but yourself to do.
I just think you need to do your fair share of the heavy lifting in dealing with Iran.
I’ve been alive long enough to watch them bungle multiple wars. Not so. Trump makes up realities to suit himself.
As for your low regard re the intelligence and common sense of our nation's military officers: I didn't share that sentiment decades ago, when I worked directly with Navy, Army, and AF officers. In the intervening years, as a very small cog in the MIC, we continue to consult with military officers. I don't agree with your assessment.
Btw, what first-hand experience do you have that you have decided our military officers are "imbeciles" and "boobies" (your Post #s 95 and 98)?
It sounds to me like YOU want to condemn American service men and women to another forever war, and with it more 9/11’s. Why would you want to repeat the same failed history resulting in more dead Americans?
From afar.I’ve been alive long enough to watch them bungle multiple wars.
Near, far, wherever you are doesn’t change the reality that American military officers are incompetents. Your personal anecdote about who you had beers with decades ago is not a substitute for the real world outcomes. From afar.
As I've noted, I have decades of working with military officers. I do NOT agree with you that they are "imbeciles" and "boobies" (your Posts 95 and 98).
But I do think the CinC is a supreme "boobie" and "imbecile". He allowed himself to be manipulated by the leader of a foreign nation into attacking Iran. Let's hope trump can restrain any more impulses to jump in and be a "War President".
US strikes set Iran's nuclear program back a few months, Pentagon assessment says
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth denied the report, saying U.S. bombs "obliterated Iran’s ability to create nuclear weapons."www.usatoday.com
As with most things that Trump, this one looks like another abysmal "Trump failure".
Given that Iran likely had moved their material ahead of the bombing campaign, the bombs still failed to reach the necessary depths.
Now we can watch the Trump propaganda department try and cover up this massive Trump screw-up.
As we watch the Trump "liefest" that will ensure, we can all sit back and watch gas prices rise.
Post #113Near, far, wherever you are doesn’t change the reality that American military officers are incompetents. Your personal anecdote about who you had beers with decades ago is not a substitute for the real world outcomes.
Sure, nothing ends military conflict in the Middle East like a brand new war instigated by the dumbest president in the history of our country. Not at all. Biden has done that in 78 countries the past 4;years. Hopefully this ends that shit b
They reap what they sow. We would have soundly lost WW2 with the current lot. It's sad that you have to blame "American military officers" for trump's incompetency, imbecility, and all-around-boobihood.
But it's not at all surprising that you share trump's complete contempt for our country's Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard officers.
Hmmm.....why do you have such low regard for those who serve our nation in the US military? (Post #117)They reap what they sow. We would have soundly lost WW2 with the current lot.
P.S. Tell your navy buddies to stop crashing ships all over the place. Shit’s expensive.Keep on displaying trumpian disrespect for those who serve our nation in the US military.
NYT has an entire detailed article describing it, with unnamed sources, but also with former generals saying that one attack couldn’t disrupt the capability and this was known years ago.I've been trying to find any information that supports this claim bombing was a failure. I've read at least six articles claiming it was a failure but the only thing they cite is Twitter gossip.
So until you have something from the intelligence community suggesting that the objective wasn't completed I'm going to hold off on my judgment.
The nytimes article includes this excerpt:NYT has an entire detailed article describing it, with unnamed sources, but also with former generals saying that one attack couldn’t disrupt the capability and this was known years ago.
I’d link the article, but you obviously wouldn’t read it.
It's either incompetence or duplicity.Great question. We'll know in 50 years when they release the actual plans
Last I read there was no radiation detected in the area.
One would expect there to be if amounts of high-grade refined uranium were blown to smithereens.
But a lot of Americans believe Trump when he contradicts everything and everyone. It's beyond unhealthy.
ThreadRegarding Trumps failure to get satisfactory penetration, Stormy Daniels was able to corroborate that assertion.
Or Mohammed channeled the Iranian leadership and warned them days ahead of the attack so they could evacuated the site. It's almost as if soil and other solid objects block radiation.
