No need to implant a microchip. Everyone carries a tracking device around in their back pocket already. You shouldn’t be able to vote unless you’ve had Bill Gates’ microchip implanted, when are we going to get serious about election integrity?
The leftist Canadian's favorite move, per Justin Trudeau.I don't have a problem with Real ID. But I have a problem with this...

It's more likely this would be pushed by liberal administrations than by Trump.
Yes Trump is a dictator and a fascist, but it's way worse than you think. The Real ID Act of 2005 languished for 20 years, after many states rebelled against the first national ID in the nation's history. Now Trump is putting it on the front burner, by ordering that it be required for domestic air travel, unless you have a passport, and entry into federal facilities that your tax dollars paid for, as well as pay the salaries of everyone working inside. You will need it to enter national parks, and then hospitals.
It's not hard to see that pretty soon you will need it for taking a crap.
Real ID is nothing like your Social Security number, because Social Security is strictly limited on what sorts of information it can gather on you. Not so Real ID, where the sky is the limit. Your Social Security number cannot be connected to a high-resolution, facial recognition scan.
Below is MAGAtard DHS Secretary Kristi Noem helping Trump your rights away.
The Trump administration insists that Real ID is not a central database, but it is. Ominously, the first thing Trump did on his first day in office was announce the massive Stargate database centers, which can hold the massive amounts of data storage that Real ID and facial recognition scans will require.
etc...
This has nothing to do with Trump. It was announced by DHS back in 2022.First: as Trump lies all the time.........one cannot believe4 anything he says....
Second: It is astounding to watch what he is doing and trying to do under the guise of "national security".
Third: this is highly reminiscent of the Gestapo " your papers please".......... from a horrid period in human history.
The move to a more authoritarian system continues.....
The EXCUSE of "national security" has become suspect , and is being abused.......for political motives. But sadly it seems to work on many as "national security" implies one should be afraid, concerned and almost paranoid of all these "threats" that seem to surface for political convenience. The person to be "afraid" of is the current dear leader.....
It's more likely this would be pushed by liberal administrations than by Trump.
For sure.
There's a big difference between telling someone that the money they take from the federal government has strings attached to it and telling someone they cannot have access to their own money.
???Softening the ground for the Social Security checks clawback already, I see.
If you are looking to sound like a sane person and not a conspiracy nutter than you are failing.
I'm in no way a defender of Trump, but he has nothing to do with Real ID enforcement date. This was announced back in 2022 by the DHS.
You should do better.

DHS Announces Extension of REAL ID Full Enforcement Deadline | Homeland Security
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced its intent to extend the REAL ID full enforcement date by 24 months, from May 3, 2023 to May 7, 2025. Under the new regulations published to execute this change, states will now have additional time to ensure their residents have driver’s...www.dhs.gov

No. This isn't about SS.
Of course, but it's something that has been in existence as long as the government has been giving away money. There are always strings attached to that money. Always have been.Unfortunately, “the government can withhold funds because it dislikes you or your politics” has rather significant implications.
Other than the fact Trump is doing that now.I don't have a problem with Real ID. But I have a problem with this...

Nobody...not even the left...has told people they cannot have access to their own money. (Well, the left in Canada did it, but not anyone in the US.) But the left, in the US, has been working on making it possible to do it.Other than the fact Trump is doing that now.
lol
Incorrect. It was DHS in 2022.Yes Trump is a dictator and a fascist, but it's way worse than you think. The Real ID Act of 2005 languished for 20 years, after many states rebelled against the first national ID in the nation's history. Now Trump is putting it on the front burner,

The Trump administration insists that Real ID is not a central database, but it is. Ominously, the first thing Trump did on his first day in office was announce the massive Stargate database centers, which can hold the massive amounts of data storage that Real ID and facial recognition scans will require.
Data analyst Amani Turnage writes:
"the RFID chip within [a Real ID/Enhanced Drivers Licence] has a unique ID number linked to a secure Department of Homeland Security (DHS) database..."
A Real ID and an Enhanced Drivers License are essentially the same thing, both issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
Trump announcing Stargate massive database centers on Jan. 21, 2025
Stargate data center in Fayetteville, GA
That central database can then be built out to link to any information the DHS decides, like facial recognition scans, financial records, and medical records.
It is inevitable that national Real ID will eventually include high-resolution, facial recognition scans, so detailed that you can be identified on the street in real time by street cameras. The software is already facial recognition compatible.
The Papers Please Identity Project writes:
“Digital Image Access” (DIA) component of [Real ID] software suite… is already designed to be compatible with automated facial recognition software. The logical next step, of course, would be to add some sort of “hash” or “template” representing each photo to the corresponding SPEXS pointer record, to make it easier to carry out national photo matching and search.”
This should be terrifying to anyone who does not trust Trump, and believes he would put his political opponents in jail if he could.
Just as recently April 27, 2025, The Atlantic Magazine warned Americans that "The Trump administration is pooling data on Americans."
There is push-back. Refuse Real ID is one of the main groups opposing, with the campaign "Stop Real ID" (Below)
As for action in state legislatures, The Portland Press Herald writes in "Maine lawmakers want state to stop issuing Real ID cards":
"Rep. Laurel Libby said her bill to end the Real ID program in Maine is one of several being submitted nationwide in hopes of convincing President-elect Donald Trump and Congress to end the controversial requirement."
In Congress Senators like Bernie Sanders and Ron Wyden were recently making noise about opposing facial recognition, but have fallen strangely silent.
A swing and a miss! Why, who has taken your guns from you? What new eo's is trump signing that infringes on your gun rights?
Nobody...not even the left...has told people they cannot have access to their own money. (Well, the left in Canada did it, but not anyone in the US.) But the left, in the US, has been working on making it possible to do it.
Trump has taken steps to prevent that possibility.
Anyway, I challenge you to present cases of Trump preventing people from having access to their own money, since that's your claim.
It's already a reality for some of us.How long will it be before any American can be stopped at any time and demanded to produce papers and even then be subject to arrest if the police decide you look a bit shifty?
utter ****ing bullshit.I don't have a problem with Real ID. But I have a problem with this...
