Trumpers/Republicans, you have my sincerest sympathy.

The quip actually works better if you reverse the roles. One is more likely to see a Democrat demand action from others to solve what they see as problems.
No, it's accurate as is. Cons don't want solutions, they just need a person to blame.

Trumpers/Republicans, you have my sincerest sympathy for what is likely to happen to you now that Putin has invaded Ukraine.

Up until now you were rejoicing the loss of popularity of Biden on the polls. The lower approval ratings being seen on what Biden has been doing.

Unfortunately, your friend and ally (Putin) has just thrown you guys under the bus with this invasion. Biden is likely to get higher approval ratings from here on in, especially if what Biden is doing to Putin (economic sanctions) work as expected. The sad thing is that the sanctions are likely to work as in this day and age, wars are mainly fought on the economic front and not with armed conflict and there (economics) Putin is a neophyte.

If by November the sanctions have had the desired effect (no matter what happens to Ukraine in the meantime), you will see higher poll numbers for Biden and for the Democrats.

Hey, you gained strength with Biden handling Afghanistan so badly and with the rise of infections and deaths due to Omicron and you were riding high! You were on cloud nine and ready to call victory a sure thing. Now, Murphy's law has occurred and you are now facing lower infections and deaths from Covid, the people forgetting about Afghanistan because of the new war and the Ukrainian deaths that are likely to occur at the hands of the Russians, and now Biden having 9 months ahead of him where these sanctions will take hold and strangle Putin economically.

Karma does exist and it is showing a liking in favor of Biden and against the Trumpers and Republicans.

My sincere condolences. I will pray for you that your ability to cope with a new disaster is good enough that you will survive this setback emotionally.

There is now growing support for the max sanctions like cutting Russia off from SWIFT. That support is coming from multiple countries inside the UN. Putin is also fighting an internal problem...his citizens aren't happy and the Rubble has collapsed almost overnight. Also, he thought this would be a cakewalk...he was wrong. Over 1,000 Russian soldiers have been killed and apparently the Ukrainian soldiers are vicious fighters...even former and the present president are taking up arms...

And utterly inflammatory.

Calling Putin a "friend and ally" of Republicans is intentional flaming of every Republican (and anyone right of the OP) on Debate Politics for the "high" purpose of gloating and perhaps even scoring a few imaginary political points.

Time to call this crap what it is - pure, unadulterated crap.
Pure unadulturated crap?

Hahahaha, then you must not be a supporter of Trump because all Trumpers are 100% in favor of what Trump says and believes and Trump is pro-Putin 100%

  • Trump congratulated Putin on winning reelection, giving his sham election legitimacy.
  • He considered visiting Putin on Russian soil despite the fact that Russia attacked the U.S. election.
  • He also gave Putin a PR victory on coronavirus by accepting a large delivery of medical supplies from Russia, a move that was regarded as a stunt by Moscow.
  • He pleases Putin over and over again, constantly criticizing NATO. To this day, Putin wants to weaken the alliance.
  • And speaking of alliances, the president asked allies to let Russia back into the G-7. The other member nations refused. He also invited Moscow to the G-7 summit again. Allies rejected him.
  • But Trump doesn’t just praise Putin. The president has also praised far-right European leaders aligned with Putin.
  • He likes to tell Moscow secrets about the U.S. Four months into his presidency, the president gave classified intelligence to the Russians inside the Oval Office.
  • Trump directed the CIA to share more with Russia, according to two former CIA officials. Even though the U.S. received nothing in return.
  • The Trump administration considered returning two diplomatic compounds in New York and Maryland to Russia after they were seized for spying.
and even this past week:

BTW, all of this is "fact" and not opinion!!!!
