Trump Wins 2024 Election in Az!!!!

Republicans in the Arizona House of Representatives have introduced a resolution that would seek to declare former President Donald Trump the winner of the 2024 presidential election — regardless of what the voters decide, reported KPNX's Brahm Resnik.


However, it is in response to rulings in Colorado and Maine disqualifying the former president from the ballot under the Insurrection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. It will be reviewed by the House Election Committee Wednesday.

According to Resnik, the resolution advocates "to change the manner of the presidential election by appointing the eleven presidential electors to the republican primary winner to offset the removal of a republican candidate in Colorado and Maine," and "that Governor Hobbs sign the election reform measures listed below, and if not, the presidential electors be appointed to protect the 2024 presidential election from another maladministered and illegally run election."
 
Goes to show that the AZ GOP does not care about voters. They want full control. After all they know what is best for us, right? :unsure:

Trump may very well win the Primary in AZ and may win the State in 2024 if he is on the ballot.
I suspect many independent voters may register as republican so they can vote in the Primary for not Trump and then switch back to Independent after the Primary
Trump is well liked by the MAGA followers, but not so much others.

The past two elections in AZ have shown us that the voters don't matter...so why should they matter this year?

Even after it was shown, otherwise, legit post 2020 election there? That the Az House of Reps is now pursuing to declare DJT the winner 2024 regardless. Is that really a sound stance under a democracy to take?

I understand quite well that in your world, democracy doesn't exist. My stance is until a well-known wannabe dictator is mysteriously put back in office, our democracy is currently functioning.

Technically, I don't think anyone is naturally a loser.

But there are way too many people who have flawed understanding of reality, and/or have learned what I consider flawed strategies and tactics for trying to succeed, and it's those worldviews/methods which lead to them losing.
Although all too often, they can win in the short term, assuming by "short term" you mean a couple hundred years, sometimes.
